For A nostalgic feel and good old-fashioned smash burgers and custard shakes. This is a must-go-to. If you are from up north, anywhere, they don't have Freddy's, go if you have the chance. Friendly staff, great options, and what an experience if you miss old-fashioned diners.
We live in Maryland, and we don't get this type of food up there. We definitely don't get the hospitality this place gives you.
We've been to three in three different states. All three were as good as it gets with friendliness and care for our slow decisions on their menu.
It's definitely a must when we travel south. And we would definitely return to this Bossier location. The man behind the counter was great!
I had chilli cheese fries and a Jalapeño pepper jack double cheeseburger with a signature turtle shake. My wife had the Freddy's original patty melt and a prime rib steak burger with a strawberry dreamcake shake. All three were delicious. And those chilli cheese fries made me think of the ball games!
No, my wife did not finish her two sandwiches. But they...
Read moreUPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 03, 2024 Great customer service as always. It seems as if there is only one lady taking people's orders & wiping the tables down once customers are done eating. SHE DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB, I MUST SAY!!! There's not much of a wait here. I got the hot dog this time. The weiner was hard though. I guess it's the way they're cooked or the way they receive them from the warehouse. Oh, they now service tator tots, which are okay. The lady's restroom was clean. There is only one toilet available for the women. I'm not sure if the guys have a urinal and a toilet.*
This was a different experience for me, but the pattymelt with pressed steak meat was awesome. Customer service was impressing.
Parking is free in which they shared parking with optical store.
By the way, I saw how the custard was made, and it was interesting.
Update as of September 07, 2023... Same experience....great customer service and great food. Patty Melt still good, and the chili dog was awesome as well. French fries weren't...
Read more2nd time here n can’t be more pleased. 1st off the manager, Roosevelt was beyond amazing, sweet, respectful, nice, accommodating n anything else nice. He took our order n suggested things on the menu n was jus so respectful. He went around to each table asking if everything was ok n anyone needed anything. He cleaned out the trash bins, took care of the custard machines n even worked the grill area. I can’t forget everyone else as well. Everyone was busy working doing something. No one was standing around doing nothing. On top of all this he came to our table asking was everything good n needed anything. We inquired about the ice cream n was told it’s called custard cuz ice cream is a cuss word around there. Lol. He gave us a mini turtle sundae on the house. That hit the spot on top of just a relaxing evening enjoying supper with Tha Hubs after a long day of work. We will most definitely be back. Oh, I can’t forget the decor of this amazing place. It’s like 50’s style....
