Last night 12/30/23 we as a family had been to a Hockey game, afterwards we were STARVING and wanted to show our Italian Foreign Exchange student Whataburger! What-a-mistake…… to come to this location!!! When did Whataburger start closing their lobby?! Nowhere on any of the doors did it say lobby closed at a certain time?? The lights were still on and people were still inside eating. We made it to open the door and walked in and one of the employees, rudely said, “ Ugh! Lobby is closed!!” It was 10:45 PM and the doors were unlocked….. no sign, how were we to know?! So, then we decided to just use the app and go through the drive thru……2nd mistake! We completed our order on the app and then sat in the drive thru for about 30 minutes, made it to the speaker to say we had a mobile order and guess what??? …….no order found?!? So we drive around to the waiting line B until an employee comes out to check our app order, still nothing. The employee goes in to check with someone and comes back saying it just came through for us to go sit in Curbside pickup 1, we do…… for 25 more minutes….. we then get our food and the fries were cardboard, and our drinks were disgusting!! Carbonation and syrup were not balanced. We were so tired and hungry, we ate our burgers, stopped at a nearby store for drinks and headed home an hour away!!! This was almost a $60 order, we shouldn’t have had to then go to the store for drinks!!??!! I will not be going back to this location for a while, if ever! I accidentally left my new 200.00 jacket (I know my fault). I called an hour into our trip home and they said they have it, whew. He said " no problem" I have your jacket, and I will lock it in our office." I asked if we could come back the next day and pick it up as I was so tired from all day of Christmas shopping, and he said that was fine. Very polite. Now this where it gets so crazy. We came the next day around noon (hour drive) and the manager said that an employee have stolen it and took it home with him. She also said that she had consequently fired him because of it. She also said he was bringing it back immediately. Well, after an hour of waiting, I decided to call bossier PD, because we felt we were being ignored and lied to. Approximately 30 to 45 min later bossier PD shows up, traded a handshake for a fist bump🙄, and asked if he could help. After 15 min of explaining my situation, my jacket magically appears from the back room. The police officer looked at me and says "you good"? 😳. I really wanted to press charges on the punk that stole my jacket but the officer, and manager stated that he was a minor. I also thought it was kinda ironic that the officer, that was to scared to shake another man's hand, actually expects me to wear a jacket that smells very bad, not to mention the sour smell of cheap cologne.
