Just had a terrible experience in this store. I was placing my order and lady at a counter asked me where I’m from. I answered that I’m from Ukraine. She started talk to me in russian, and insisted that I have to talk russian language to her. I answered I prefer to talk in English. That moment her face becomes angry and she turn around and was talking something about Ukrainian/russian quietly. In the end I said “Thank you “ and she just throw my order on a counter, it slides there. I’m grateful Polish people for their support and I always support Polish business in Boston. I’ll share this terrible customer service at Baltic with everyone, because it’s not only language question, it has way more deeper meaning and that Polish employee knew that.

My favorite place to go food shopping for the most delicious foods and a nice variety of them also! They make fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, deserts and so many other yummy offerings every day of the week. I’m addicted to their homemade borscht and mushroom and cabbage pierogies! And their chocolates and seasonal offerings are absolutely divine! Don’t leave with some jam filled gingerbread cookies!!!

I’m so excited to discover this store! I came for one exact product but ended up with two bags full of goodies! Looking forward to coming back there and trying more stuff!

THE LADIES BEHIND THE COUNTER ARE SOOOOOOO RUDE!!!! Look, I’m not Eastern European and I have many friends who are , who don’t behave this way. I am a person of color. The stares I got when I walked in and while I shopped, and the way they just said No to every question I asked nicely and their refusal to make me a sandwich when the person before was getting deli meats (mind you there was 5 people behind the counter) makes me wonder how they were raised??? Being an immigrant and treating other people of color with such disdain will NEVER MAKE ME COME BACK HERE. I don’t care how much good products I love. I’d rather travel to Eastern Europe before...

I've been coming here for 25 years, but what I saw today is going to make me stay away for the next year at least.

I walk in, and I see the two women behind the counter AND a customer, all maskless. There's a small plexiglass division at the register, but it's totally just for looks and wouldn't stop anything. It made me feel unsafe. I turned around and left and won't be going back. This really shouldn't be that difficult to keep yourselves and your customers safe.

I went to Euromart instead, a few blocks away, and EVERYONE was wearing masks there. They're getting my business for the...
