Red Line Pizza — Restaurant in Boston

I was staying at a hotel in the area and they recommended the redline pizza as a late night food option. The front desk staff also noted that the food was very good. Confident, my friends and I decided to order via their online website. We were surprised, the website didn't ask for a room number etc, but once the confirmation mail was received we were confident it was all processed seemlessly. We were given a 45 minute ton1 hour delivery time and we waited patiently in the hotel lobby. An hour passed and no word etc. We starting calling the phone number for the restaurant at the hour 20 minute mark to no one answering. We kept calling until finally someone picked up. We requested to track the status of the delivery. We were told the order was recieved and before we could confirm if the food was en route. They hung up the phone never to pick up again. Nearing the 1hour 45 minute mark our group now really hungry, decided to call it a night. Before walking to the elevators, we decided to walk outside as we could see a slew of people walking away from cars with pizza boxes. With a renewed sense of hope, we find our delivery driver. He insisted he had called. But we never recieved a phone call. Who cares? Our food is here. Or so we thought.

We had ordered a pizza and wings combo using their online coupon. The driver collected the cash for the food and handed over a pizza. When we explained we had ordered pizza and wings he realised he had given our food to another patron. The driver now decided he would call the other customer to get the wings back, which we were absolutely opposed to! We had no intention of eating food that had been passed off to someone else etc. But here is where it got tricky. The driver refused to refund us for the wings. He insisted he would come back with a new wing order. But the restaurant was closed. So getting new wings was impossible if the kitchen was closed. He just did not want to refund for the missing food or charge us for the pizza we had. We haggled with him.for 10 plus minutes. He then screamed at us to give him back the pizza, all while he refused to give us our cash back. The front desk clerk had to get involved and finally he gave us back our money and grabbed the pizza. So, 2 plus hours later we were still left hungry. I would never order from.this place again. The service...

So many positive things to say! Our delivery arrived earlier than estimated! Our food was individually bagged with napkins and silverware; deliciously fresh; hot and absolutely amazing! All of it was accounted for! Our delivery driver was phenomenal he had realized he’d not brought cups with our 2liter and asked if we’d like him to go grab us cups! We travel so we didn’t have access to cups but also have had so many times of our orders being messed up, parts missing etc so we’ve learned to improvise and have just expected our order would be incomplete or inaccurate so we would have made due without cups and honestly didn’t even think cups were part of the deal as they’re usually not at other places; heck normally we’re lucky if we get silverware, however he was so incredible he actually went and got cups! Not only that but when he’d first arrived my husband went to hand him the cash tip and the driver told my husband we’d already tipped him on the order site; that’s some incredible integrity!!! My husband told him he knew and still wanted him to have the cash tip! Not only is this restaurant amazing but I can’t say enough how phenomenal that driver was to seriously as soon as he arrived before handing us our food or anything he mentioned he forgot cups said he’d go back and grab them(too which he actually did) stated he’d already been tipped on the order site when my husband reached out a cash tip that was much larger than what he’d already been given and the entire time he was so friendly and professional! We’ll be ordering from here every time we’re in Boston; and hope for that same driver!...

Redline Pizza has been around a little while. One thing I can say is their hospitality is top notch while ordering. They do have a large menu but I have really only tried a couple things. I give the steak and cheese a 3.8 stars and their chicken Alfredo was about a 4.0. My favorite order from them is the jumbo fresh wings crispy with sauce on the side. These wings are a huge, smell great fresh out and they’re tasty. One time I ordered them and was hanging with friends. A lady that I know of came over happy she smelled them and was too excited for my food. She said ooooh can I have some chicken. I told her no unfortunately there just wasn’t enough. She then reached in my plate grabbed a piece forcefully like wow!! That just happened. Then she proceeded to cuss me out for 20 mins all the while eating my piece chicken of for telling her no. 😂 thats just how good those wings are. Unfortunately the area is crawling with drug addicts that hang in Andrew Square so anytime you are in there you will possibly see one or more also either outside or inside.
