Small Victories is a great new bar located in the heart of Boston, Andrew Square.🥳 It being the only bar in the area it is a breath of fresh air outside your normal pizza and fries spots to eat😓. I met Joe and another young lady at the front door definitely cool security staff 🤝and was also happily greeted at the bar by the head Chef Jeff👨‍🍳. My first choice of drink was perfect for the hot weather it’s a frozen margarita named “Keanu Freeze”🍹 with multiple flavors to choose from (Strawberry, Blood Orange) my favs..great suggestion by the bar!! They’re all really cool back there great friendly personalities! The first sip was a perfectly cold mix of savory flavor 😋 which took me a while to drink because it was strong in a great way 👍🏾. The “Beer Honey Mustard wings” 🍗..were top notch 🏆extremely fresh probably the best wings I’ve had in a while and the golden crispy fries just made them even better. It’s a great place for Lunch, dinner or just for drinks and the game. I want to go there everytime I’m in Andrew Sqaure now. Definitely worth check out. Review by: Jon Price

Stopped by to check out Small Victories for the first time over the weekend and was blown away by the amount of detail in this pub sports bar. The menu was incredibly well crafted with gourmet twists to traditional items like nachos and sandwiches. Great drink options like the creative espresso martinis and frozen drinks. And the staff was super personable and they have tons of games making for a great experience! Definitely check it out if you're in the area. We'll certainly be back!

Awesome addition to Andrew Square. The bar has a ton of beer and cocktails and is casual while also being stylish. The food is incredible and great with a group - giant pretzel and mozzarella stick (seriously giant, with 7 people we each got a huge piece), wings, and poutine were all awesome. Plus the staff was really friendly. Don't miss adding your Photo Booth pix to the back wall.

I had a frustrating experience at this bar due to the behavior of one particular staff member a man who always wears a green hat. From the moment I approached the bar, he seemed uninterested in doing his job. He was on his phone, engaged in a personal conversation, and completely ignored me as I waited to be served. He made no effort to acknowledge my presence, not even a simple “I’ll be right with you.”

What stood out in contrast was the female bartender working alongside him. She was attentive and professional she noticed I hadn’t been helped and stepped in to make sure I was taken care of. Her effort was the only reason my experience wasn’t a complete loss. Without her, I likely would’ve walked out without being served at all. I remember her telling me her name is Shannon, amazing person and very well spoken person.

It’s unfortunate that one employee can have such a negative impact on an otherwise decent environment. This bar seriously needs to address his attitude and work ethic. As of now, I wouldn’t recommend it especially if basic courtesy and customer service are...

Decent corner spot in a neighborhood with a long history of no real competition (yet). I’m 65 and I grew up in Southie. It’s convenient, but nothing I’d go out of my way for. Food is basic and mediocre (smash burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc). Solid whiskey selection. The room could probably benefit from a little bit of sound insulation/dampening on the ceiling (it’s a whole lot of glass and hard surfaces so it can be deafeningly loud at times).

But it is what it is, and we are happy to have something local to walk to.

Until something better comes along this is what we’ve...
