Blackbird Doughnuts / Sally's Sandwiches - Brighton — Restaurant in Boston

My husband and I used to live right down the street from Blackbird and would love getting their coffee and doughnuts on a Saturday morning. We had heard that they catered weddings, so when we had to pivot to a small backyard wedding it felt like a doughnut cake from Blackbird was a no brainer. We worked with Paige who was very helpful every step of the way with our order of individually wrapped mini doughnuts, vegan doughnuts, and our little wedding cake. People have been asking me to try Blackbird for a long time! Finally bought a box of six doughnuts to share with friends to share the guilt haha. They all tasted so good that I forgot to take a photo of everything until we were almost done with most of it. My favorite is definitely the Everything Bagel dougnut! The garlic, poppy seeds, cream cheese with doughnut is too hard to resist! Other flavors were are also great including boston cream, chocolate old fashioned, the blackbird, and carrot raspberry (a little too sweet but you will like it if you like...

As Blackbird continues to expand its presence in the Boston-area, we'll continue to get creative creations and delectable desserts year-round! Similar to its Fenway location, Blackbird Brighton offers doughnuts that put the selection at places such as Dunkin to shame. Every batch is made fresh daily, so you'll have to get there before they're sold out!
