Kaori Cafe — Restaurant in Boston

I am so excited to welcome Kori cafe to the neighborhood. They have a lot of potential. They have a big coffee and tea menu. The coffee and pastries are pretty good. They are definitely working out “just opening” kinks. They forgot about part of our order and same for people sitting next to us. Seems like they need to develop a better order management system. I am sure this will improve with time. My bigger thing is that they don’t really have a hot breakfast. They have paninis which will be good for lunch, but there is no hot breakfast sandwhiches which I crave in the winter. I look forward to trying their smoothies...

Their pastries are some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flaky, and full of flavor, Whether it be the apple bear claw or the chocolate croissant. Their matcha is just as impressive. It’s perfectly smooth, vibrant, and not bitter at all. The iced matcha latte with strawberry has become my new go-to order. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is very friendly and helpful....

I ordered a Lychee Blossom and a Matcha Latte, and as someone who’s really picky with matcha, this place is now my go-to. You can tell that they use ceremonial-grade matcha powder so if you like your matcha latte to be sweeter, definitely ask for extra vanilla syrup.
