Normally I give a lot of latitude to businesses for a variety of reasons but this location should just shut down. I sat in my car waiting for my order, which I placed via mobile. I go inside the location with about ten other ppl, grateful for to be in the group of seemingly loitering people outside. After some time, too much time, we are informed that pick up for mobile was "outside". I triple checked, no signs. We are now outside with ppl screaming into the phone, playing literally base high music and whatever else. I had observed these ppl for some time while sitting in the car and they had not gotten their orders. Now there's 15-20 ppl outside... Over 20 minutes, the workers speak no English so we are all just watching our food get cold, clearly visible. The dark skinned ppl, including Hispanics, are having the door shut in their face as the Asian and light skinned individuals are pointing at bags and getting their food. I was among the lucky ones but was disgusted by the very clear and intentional decision to mistrust ppl based on their skin, especially when the darker skinned ppl at least spoke Spanish and were helping the crowd. I was not asked to verify my order but every single dark skinned person had the door shut in their face as a presumed manager came to translate. After 25 minutes I got my food with the hell of the loudest man out there. Drink was wrong, I was missing a nugget, ice cream totally melted (liquidized and inedible but covered in cookies and in a little box so I couldn't tell immediately) and of course everything was cold. Frustrated, I just decided to take the L and go home. My first time in Dorchester and certainly my last at this McDonald's. I am hoping you close down expeditiously because everyone is in hell, the workers, the customers, even the ARMED SECURITY was annoyed. I felt safe but clearly the workers don't and it is very very clear that they fear black and dark skinned individuals bc when I say the door was shut, I mean slammed and locked. But the white Asian and light skinned individuals are taken seriously and treated with respect. Alright I was treated with respect, I am hoping this sticks on the page and this location is shut down because of that... Secondarily to the sheet abysmal service... If you can call throwing bags out of a window and immediately speaking the door in fear - whilst simultaneously unable to communicate with a single customer... Yikes. Praying the doors are shut...

However as other posters noted the atmosphere and environment at this location is a real problem. Small location some high stools for a dozen or so people and maybe ten or so tables and one auto order touch screen
A pair of Homeless people were sitting in the corner trying to sleep.
I was dressed simply but cleanly, arguably lower business casual at best, no suit or tie or watch (button down shirt solid color and khakis).
I was rather hungry and ordered $14 worth of stuff. Within a minute of sitting down with my food I was panhandled twice. One woman going so far as to sit at my table demanding money and only leaving after I hinted I was willing to invoke the law. Another came by repeatedly asking if I intended to eat my food and tried to pretend she knew me from work when obviously I didn't know her from Adam.
There were about a dozen people at the tables but only two were actually eating (just sharing fries) the rest were all loitering and either talking on their phones, starting at one another or staring at me. the MCD staff only asked one pair of homeless to leave in 20 minutes I was there.
I understand it's fustrating for MCD staff to enforce anti loiter but it's the only way for the place atmosphere to improve either that or have a minimum...
ย ย ย Read moreFood was great but service is REALLY REALLY SLOW!!!! 2/21/22-....Was there again tonight 2/21/22 and the service started off ok our sandwiches and fries came right up but we waited 15 mins for a medium strawberry shake and when they finally gave it to me the employee says this is the best we can do for strawberry ๐.... it had zero pink color and very little ๐ flavor but after waiting 15 mins I was too annoyed to fight for the right product or to get my money back because I was in a rush to get some where else. But the comment is what ruffled my feathers for sure.... this is the best we can do right now!!! And to boot the whole time there was a manager standing v not to far hearing what was going on at the shake machine and heard what the girl said to me and just turned her back to me and continued her conversation with another employee in another language which made me uncomfortable especially when they both turned and looked at me then back at each other and started laughing really loud....I find that very unprofessional.... the last few weeks the service and quality of the food has really gone down....I THINK THE STORE MANAGER AND ALL OTHER MANAGERS NEED TO MEET AND ADDRESS THE ISSUES OF THEY DON'T ALREADY AND ALSO MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO ASSIST THEIR CREW WHEN AN ISSUE LIKE MINE HAPPENED INSTEAD OF SHRUGGING...
