I thought I had already reviewed this place but obviously not... We moved to the neighborhood 4 months ago; Sammy Carlo's became a go-to place for us within the first couple of weeks! It's a neighborhood Italian deli that serves great lunches and cookies and candies and... whatever I have not tried yet. The staff is really lovely, every food item I have tried has been excellent and at very fair price. Much better option - in my opinion - then other nearby famous Italian delis... For those who know Pace's in the city, I keep saying it is like that but even better and even cheaper! A bit more out of the way if you don't live around, but I got every single one of my visitors this summer to go there. Highly recommend wandering down here and come enjoy a sandwich from this...

We’ve been twice in 2 days during our visit to Boston. Discovered this place while looking for breakfast near our hotel and it did not disappoint. Sausage parm and chicken parm sandwiches were both great, and my wife raved about her breakfast. I’m a chef that has worked in the US, the UK, and in Europe, and while fine dining is nice on occasion its places like this that make life enjoyable. Family atmosphere, regulars coming in and out, and great food. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Boston. They even recognized us as returning customers this morning, which shows a care to remember the people who patronize their business. Thank you guys for a...
