Tremont House of Pizza — Restaurant in Boston

This is not the same Tremont house that was there last year. There pizza is 1000% better, cheesy and crispy flat,( like N.Y. style). I always try a new pizzeria cheese pizza. If that's not good I usually don't continue with anything else, but there was outstanding👍🏿, then I tried there calzone I got a onion an green pepper and asked them to throw some extra cheese on top. Usually most places still dont put enough on top even though your paying extra. The nailed that, the only thing(constructive criticism ) was that the first time I ored the calzone as I was getting to the end of the slice(calzone) I was eating you can see that it was basically a pizza on top of a another they where separating so you can see it on top of each other there, also order a Steak and cheese calzone. The steak and cheese was seasoned and was very tasty. So later I got a steak&cheese sub got it plain just to make sure that it wasn't the other toppings and sauce that made it great. It was great!👍🏿 So now that's done they have chicken and cold sub is the next thing I will try, oh and the price is more affordable than there surrounding pizza shops. That's always a plus saving a few cents and good food. They also have free old school coin op games inside to help past time only reason the didn't get 5 is because when I go most of the time the front counter person is helping out in back, or talk to staff in back, and there TOAST reward system to earn points for free food needs work. Some how someone else was on my Toast profile (no clue how) there was multiple numbers and they where taking my earned points. Hope the fix that, and they need to get like a threshold bell when someone walks in it will alert them. I am a fan of this place and will...

Look, I love the pizza. It is amazing and the prince is great. The service is wonderful. However, I have to knock a star because nobody, and I mean NOBODY doing food prep is wearing gloves or washing their hands. This is already not good, but it's even WORSE during this time I'm writing the review (Early 2020) So if you have a compromised immune system, or are a stickler for sanitation, this Pizza place is not for you. I ordered an extra cheese pizza. The crust was like cardboard, and they know damn well they didn’t put extra cheese on it. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Asked for oil and vinegar dressing. Asked for an extra one. If they had given me the extra one I asked for, I could’ve fried chicken. Only oil. I called them. And told them how disappointed I was. I grew up in that neighborhood.
