I recently stopped by Jack's Place in Boulder City, NV, and it’s easy to see why this spot is a local favorite. Tucked into the historic downtown at 544 Nevada Way, this sports bar and grill has a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding after a day exploring nearby spots like Lake Mead or the Hoover Dam. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming—think open doors spilling out onto the sidewalk on a nice evening, with the hum of live music or sports on the TVs filling the air. The menu is packed with classic American fare that hits all the right notes. I went for the Jack’s Burger, which lived up to its reputation as a standout—juicy, fresh, and cooked just right, with all the fixings you’d want. The chili cheese fries were a highlight too, loaded with flavor and perfect for sharing (or not—I won’t judge). They’ve got a solid lineup of small bites like potato skins and corn cob bites, plus heartier options like bratwurst and quesadillas. Pair it with a cold beer from their tap selection, and you’re set. Service was friendly and attentive, even when the place started to fill up. The staff clearly know their regulars, but they made me feel right at home too. The outdoor seating is a nice touch if you want to soak in the Boulder City charm, though it’s not exactly a spot for kids—more of a grown-up hangout with a sports bar edge. If you’re looking for great food, a relaxed setting, and a taste of local energy, Jack’s Place delivers. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town—maybe for karaoke night or to catch a game. Four stars for a...

Jack’s Place is a super cute and casual dining experience. I love the ambiance and our server was terrific! It’s nestled right there in downtown Boulder City amongst some other cute places I’d like to try some day. I was not very impressed with my Frisco burger special. It was on sour dough with Parmesan cheese grilled into the bread. It had a burnt taste to it, even though there was no burnt appearance. The burger patty was very thin and therefore overcooked easily, and it was. The dressing was tasty and I enjoyed that on the burger. The sweet potato fries are a must upgrade! My husband absolutely loved the Reuben! He said it was fantastic. Next time, I’ll try something other than a burger.

The decor was eclectic and fun. They had TVs placed around and the windows open on a beautiful day. It was a fun place to go and I wouldn’t hesitate to...

I have recently been here twice now both times to see my godfathers band The Rukus play. I have to say from the moment I walked into the place was met with such great service the 1st person who pulled out a bar stool and offered me to sit. I later on found out it was the owner himself Jack my hats off to you Sir. for running such a great place.

My next recognition goes to the bartender Amy and the awesome waitress Samantha(Sam) because of the spectacular vib, great customer service, awesome drinks and good food all of which is very reasonably priced. I will surly be back even if it isn't to just go watch my godfathers band play. I would and will recommend Jack's Place to anyone and everyone.

Thanks again for being such a professional, friendly and inviting establishment. "Be a Shooting Star with a Heart of Gold" Sincerely...

I loved that place. We had an amazing break at this place. We were there with a biker group of 14 people in the end of September. It was our first big stop on our trip started from Vegas. The waitress (I unfortunately forgot her name) was SO kind and lovely. She saw how thirsty we were, especially 'cause we weren't used to the heat in the USA. We tried cranberry juice for the first time. The best juice we ever drank. The food was also delicious! Thanks and hopefully see you soon!
