Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Boulder City

THIS Starbucks is awesome. I mean...seriously. It's crazy. I travel a lot and there's nothing more convenient for meeting a client or killing an hour waiting for a bus/plane/taxi but I hate Starbucks. I don't like how they're all exactly the same and in that sameness they suck in all the exact same ways. I'm an opinionated computer programmer who has spent far too much time in too many different coffee shops to like Starbucks.

In fact I HATE the general mediocrity of the Starbucks thing, which is why I want you to take this review seriously. Starbucks Boulder City should be the template for all the Starbucks across the land. The crew there has managed to turn the soulless corporate crapfest that is Starbucks and make it...wonderful. It has spacious, comfortable seating. It has an unbelievably friendly staff. They ALWAYS have blond, medium and dark roast on tap which is amazing and great for me since I can't stand Pike's Place Roast. The people that work here are friendly, but... I've come here every morning for the last 4 days and I sit at the same table. I dripped one tiny drop of coffee at my table the first day. On day 2 I noticed the that small drop was still there plus some very small crumbs. Day 3 more drops from others and my small drop were still there + minute crumbs. Day 4 a smear of someone's hand print was added to the others. It would appear that if they are cleaning the tables at all it is just with a dry rag and not a wet rag. I moved to another table but there were also small crumb particles and old dried drips of drinks. The place isn't filthy, don't get me wrong BUT even if a tables looks clean from back behind the bar, it may not be totally clean. I would suggest that they clean all the tables with a wet sanitizing rag several times a day, not just the ones that are...

As of today (10/3/22 )at 9:13am there was a new girl that was working handing out the drinks and she was very rude and seemed bothered by customers. A customer before me asked if Carmel was added and she said yes it’s in there look, and shook her head. Then the next guy asked “which drink is what?” Her response was “look at the stickers”

She must not know that this isn’t how things are done in Boulder City. We are a small town and this Starbucks has always had a great team!!!! Super delightful. I wish I got her name. She is not a good addition to our towns Starbucks.

Update: I wrote my review in the parking lot, got home and started to drink my coffee that ALSO includes Carmel and low and behold my coffee Had a drop of caramel AND espresso wasn’t made right I had coffee grounds in my coffee....
