I really love Moe's Broadway Bagels- I go to the one on 28th all of the time, and I have nothing but praises to sing for that location. The Arapahoe location is another story. The only thing that is consistent about them is how inconsistent they are. Every time I go to Moe's, I get the same burrito. At 28th, it's perfect. At Arapahoe, it's dry, there is barely any meat, and it's like a totally different burrito than the one I would get down the street. They also can't be bothered to keep consistent hours. Sure, the store on 28th closes two hours earlier, but at least they are open when they say they will be. The Arapahoe location claims to be open until 5. Today, I placed an order online with their website at 3 pm. The website said the store was open and taking orders. I paid online. I drove to the store to find a printed sign on the door saying, "winter weekend hours: close at 3." They saw me trying to get in and told me they had cancelled my order. Cool, thanks for the call. This is not the first time I've had terrible service from disinterested employees at this location before either. Business operations 101: be open when you say you'll be open and fill the orders you accept. This location needs to get it together. Have your employees take a trip to the location on 28th...
Read moreThe service here has been awful for the past 8 years for such mediocre food.
Just the latest incident for me was that we ordered an everything bagel toasted with capers, tomatoes, and cream cheese along with a breakfast burrito. They kept getting the bagel wrong (missing tomatoes, missing capers, didn't toast bagel) to the point where I ended up just buying a different one. When that bagel finally came out, my burrito still had not been made for nearly 20 minutes. I had to remind them to make the burrito, and they asked if I wanted to buy it even though I already paid. When it was finished, I asked to make sure if it was the aurora burrito and was told that she wasn't the one that made it so she didn't know.
Furthermore, when we asked for a knife since they were out, the cashier asked an employee to fill up the container and the dude just gave her a blank look and turned back to keep chatting with his buddy that came in. The entire time we ate, he was standing around hanging out instead of doing his job.
Being in the food industry, it really should not be so complicated to make breakfast bagels and sandwiches. If they updated their system so they were not memorizing what they had to make, things would probably go a...
Read moreBeen Moe's customer for many many years. I'm very happy you guys are paying your employees a living wage and do not take tips. But with that, your $$ per item went up and quality of service went down unfortunately. Really just gone downhill in the last year or so. I get the same Manhattan on sesame every time, and on the last 5 visits I have gotten everything else but not my order. Often its a new Yorker, or a wrong bagel, or missing egg, missing tomato, missing salmon once. Just never comes out right event when the place is slow. My boyfriend has been a customer 20+ years, grew up with Moe's. And same deal - he gets a simple egg and cheddar on plain bagel, toasted. You would think there's no way to mess it up. But wait - just today - he got sesame and not a toasted bagel. You guys im just disappointed. I know its hard to find staff that care but you guys being a staple of boulder shpuld at least try. Just super sad seeing this place failing. I hope it gets...
