Wendy's — Restaurant in Boulder

I have the pleasure of stopping in to this Wendy's just before they open today. The person on the drive-thru intercom did me a solid though and didn't leave me waiting in line, they came on and let me know that it would be about 5 more minutes before they opened.

Little did I know it was going to be extremely well worth the wait.

My partner and I each got a combo meal for breakfast, and they were both expertly made. What does that mean?

The bread was treated perfectly. In my case it was a croissant which was buttery and flaky and seem to have just come out of the oven. And my partner's case it was a flaky biscuit. Their biscuit was better than any I've ever had at Hardee's.

The sandwiches were also sauce perfectly, and all the ingredients were arranged on the sandwich so that it made for easy eating and didn't make a large mess.

We were also fortunate enough to order a dish of biscuits and gravy. I've never had b&g from wendy's, but if you get the chance I highly recommend it. It was like a textbook picture of the way they're supposed to make it, with the biscuit laid just overlapping in the tray split in half, and a wealth of sausage gravy lovingly ladled on to the plate.

Normally you'd read a review like this for a fast food place and think come on, this is pretty hyperbolic. But that is not the case here, as I've got pics to prove that it happened as I said it. That biscuits and gravy was amazing. And I will gladly go back to Wendy's for more.

I love this Wendy’s so, so, so much, you have no idea. Every single person that works here is incredibly kind and cordial, and really takes the time to listen to your order. If anything is wrong they are very quick to fix it, also. No issue. There’s a lady that works here, Ann(e?), and she is the SWEETEST. There was this one time yeaaaars ago that I had to call corporate about a completely incorrect order. She has pretty much remembered me every since then and ALWAYS puts extra care into my food when she is working there. Told me “from now on, if anything’s wrong, just come talk to me and I’ll fix it for you.” And she always has, too. Not like they mess up orders very often, if at all, though. She and pretty much everyone else I’ve encountered there have been so great. Considering it’s right next to the Taco Bell that has infamously horrible customer service… please go here instead. They deserve your patronage waaaaay more. And they won’t threaten to call the police on you for an order mistake, unlike the other...

This Wendy's is so great. The service is good especially for a fast food place, they really care about you and they are all so nice. Plus the food is always amazing, I love Wendy's and their spicy asiago sandwich . They usually have it done before I even walk away from the counter. I had to write this review because I got locked out of my house and stranded with no money for 5 hours and I was starving so I asked them if they could type in my credit card number since I knew it. They gave it a try and it didn't work on their computer so they ended up giving me my food for free even though I insisted they didn't need to. I think it was a manager that helped me (I'm not positive) and while he was trying to get it to work he was very friendly and asked me if I come there very often, and I told him I work nearby. I don't want to get anyone in trouble for that but just express how grateful I was! I will be back to tip them and try to pay for my order when I...
