Lackluster execution in a cuisine that has many alternatives. Beto's management has certainly taken advantage of the minimal competition in Bountiful and takes no shame in delivering a sub par menu for an premium price point. For the price of a single bean and cheese burrito one could nearly purchase two of greater quality from Albertos or other similar competitors who pride themselves on their fresh handmade tortillas. Instead customers are charged 2 dollars extra and greeted with a factory tortilla product. This is common tactic in the industry from those whose emphasis in business is to make the most money possible with the intent of insuring a higher per transaction revenue. The idea is by not offering low price point items, one is more likely to purchase a higher priced item that more appropriately matches their tastes even if what they are seeking is a cheap and quick meal that fills them up. Knowing the lure I still followed the directive (no way in hell I am paying 6 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito, even of the higher quality variety found at competitors). I chose instead a chile Verde, another poor execution, nobody wants to be able to count the number of chunks of pork in their meal (didn't even take both of my hands). Here's the good: hot food available into the...
Read moreThe drive through had two cars waiting for food and one ordering. When I pulled up to order the hostess was prompt and pleasantly patient while I tried to decide what I wanted. The drive through menu was a little dificult to see. Some of the combination plates were hidden by the speaker and the specials menu was not lit-up. It was 10:30pm so that made it a little hard to see. The wait was not long at all. One of the three cars had already gone so I waited behind two cars to get my food. Maybe 3 minutes and I was pulling up to the window. The server was quick to greet me and repeat my order. She took my card for payment and returned it to me with my receipt. She ask me what drinks I wanted with my combination plates and again she was very patient as I ask about the different flavored drinks they had. I chose Pina and ask for her recomendation on the other. They were both delicious. When I got home with my order, it was all fresh and hot to serve. Everything was deliciouso. I ordered to much food but the leftovers will heat up just fine tomorrow for lunch. Im thinking I may go back in the morning for breakfast buritos. I am so glad they are...

🌮 What I LOVED: Al Pastor Tacos: Juicy, smoky pork with sweet pineapple, topped with fresh cilantro and onions. The tortillas taste homemade! House-Made Salsas: From the tangy verde to the fiery roja, each one is packed with flavor (just ask for the heat level you want!). Generous Portions: No skimping here—great value for the price. Friendly Vibes: The staff treats you like family, and the service is quick even when busy.
🔥 Must-Trys: The "El Jefe" Burrito (huge, stuffed with your choice of meat, beans, rice, and all the fixings—worth every bite!). The horchata: Creamy, cinnamon-y, and perfectly sweet (not cloying!).
