I try not to be an online troll or complain when things go wrong, especially since fast food restaurants often have teenage kids who are working for the first time and learning customer service which means there can be a learning curve. I know pizza places are typically busy on Friday and Saturday nights too. Lastly, I understand you get what you pay for - meaning if you expect 5 star dining then go to a 5 star restaurant, but don't get upset for fast food service at fast food prices. But the Bountiful Domino's location has had so many issues that I can no longer stay silent. I've spoken to nearly each shift manager when problems arise and never gotten things fixed. I've even tried to talk to the owner and the manager text him my contact info and no call back from him. The last 5 times ordering from this location there have been issues. Angelica is one of the shift managers, but does not care about customer service at all. I'm baffled that she is still employed there due to her incompetence and her lack of effort to help. One Friday they had customers waiting 2 HOURS for pizzas when they were told 45 min wait times. As I waited, Angelica turned away 50 clients in less than 30 mins and had another 20-30 clients who had already paid ask for refunds. She was slow and didn't care how long people waited. The last 5 times there, our pizza orders have been messed up (wrong toppings), delayed orders, charged wrong amount, double charged and no one seems to care that they always have problems. The only thing I've ever been told was "sorry, here's a free dipping sauce." Maybe the managers don't have support from the owner, but this location is not one I'll use ever again. Its the closest to my house and my kids love Domino's so we've continued to go there despite the issues, but not any more. Double paying and waiting hours for pizza's is not a headache I'll deal with again. I'll use another location or other pizza place. Very disappointed in their service, management...
Read moreHere’s my experience from last night. I came in around 9:30, because the website says it closes at 12:00. As I approached the entrance a delivery driver left and was friendly, but when I got to the door, it was locked. They had a neon “open” sign and their hours confirming that it was until 12:00. The manager (I assume) came to the door told me that they are only open for online orders after 9:00, so I asked if I could order from my phone and he said yes, but then didn’t let me in and told me to wait outside... it’s defintiely not warm this time of year either. I ordered and when I was done ordering, I came to the door and waited and knocked but nobody came out so I called them twice and they didn’t answer. I got back in my car and waited and I watched as another guy approached and knocked on the door and nobody came for a while. So I got out and told him that they were only open for delivery/take out and he told me that he was here to pick up his food! I got back in my car and finally the “manager” went and let the guy in. So I decided I would try to go in. And it looked like the other guy asked if he could let me in and the manager told him no! I stayed there and finally the manager came and asked for my name and allowed me in. But this guy seemed to be really irritated and annoyed and was NOT friendly. I waited and as I was there another man approached and tried to open the door, so I tried to get the employees attention, but it seemed like they were avoiding me. Finally, a delivery driver let him in, because the guy had ordered his food already too. I’m not one of those people who has crazy high standards for fast food restaraunts, but I do know that you can’t lock your customers out (especially when your signage says otherwise). The food was good, but that place has a terrible manager. I feel that it is necessary that people hear...
Read more5/4/18 update: Drake is the general manager they brought up from Provo who is actively trying to turn this store around for Domino's. He had me try a couple of pizzas to see how they're doing. Verdict? One of the pizzas was a little overdone, but tasted good anyway. The pizza had toppings like a pizza should too - covering almost to the edge. I'm reserving the 5th star for the next time we order ourselves and see how it turns out, but I believe this store is moving the right direction. That's good, because I still like their crust.
4/25/18 update: I'm upping my review from 1 star to 3 stars because apparently they have a new General Manager from Provo that is trying to turn things around at this store. Because I reviewed it on their company site, he followed up with me via a very considerate phone conversation to let me know personally that Domino's is working to improve their operation in Bountiful. He's providing us a couple of pizza's on Domino's dime so we can try the new and improved version of service and pizza with their management changes. I'll adjust my star rating further when I take him up on the free pizzas, but just the fact that he followed up so promptly deserves a minimum 2 star improvement. So far, so good Dominos.
1/1/18: They used to be pretty good. I like Domino's crust. But they're skimping on toppings and the pizza looked like a dime on a quarter - even the sauce didn't reach the edges. I won't blame this on the employees, this is an owner/manager problem. If they can't make their profit margins selling toppings that cover the pizza like they used to, then they will lose more than my business judging from similar comments as mine that you can see further down. Online order coupon for one large 3...
