The Blended Berry — Restaurant in Bourne

My beautiful niece asked me to pickup her açaí bowl, that she ordered and paid for online. I arrived to find that they were 11 young ladies behind the counter, Half of them standing around doing nothing. There was a line of about 12 people. At the one end of the long counter was a sign that said for pick up orders, check in at the register. I asked one of the young ladies, “do I really have to stand in line in order to pick up”, to which she responded “Yes, you do.”

16 minutes later, I told the one girl on the one register (Who had four young ladies behind her just staring at her) I was here to pick up my niece’s order. The cashier herself walked to the other end of the counter, picked up the bowl, brought it back and handed it to me. Just shows how poorly Run this restaurant is that she couldn’t have even asked one of the young ladies who was just staring into space to get it for her so she could’ve helped the next customer in l

How badly managed is this place? Ordering and paying online is supposed to be a convenience. There was absolutely no reason why I should not have been able to just pick up at the other end of the counter. God knows there were enough people not doing anything that could have assisted. First off, they should have two registers and secondly for an Online order, one should just be able to go to a pick up counter as in 99% of other establishments with similar operations.

I would never go back here again because of this...

Great juice bar! Love this place. The Blended Berry has a tremendous selection of juices, kombuchas, smoothies, acai bowls, toasts and energy bites. They even have cold brew coffee if that’s your thing (and its great!). If you’re heading to Falmouth for the day or just hanging around Buzzards Bay this is the spot to stop for a healthy snack. A great ambience and fun Cape Cod islandy vibe will put you in a great mood the second you step inside. And the girls behind the counter are fabulous. So much positive energy. And they are knowledgeable, reliable, friendly, and personable. A really terrific group with great karma. I make it a point stop by here whenever I am in the area. A smoothie, toast and cold brew is my go-to. I highly recommend the Island Vibes and Berry Breakfast smoothies as well as the Everything Avocado toast. The smoothie was great but make sure you don't inconvenience the workers by going in there. They don't seem friendly at all. I got a gift card recently and probably won't be using the rest of it. Where I work it's a friendly environment. I would never want the customers to seem unwelcome. You walk in the door and they all stare at you. The girls at the counter don't say thank you or have a good day. They have an awful look on their face. For myself being the only customer in the building. My manager at my work would never allow that. People at a coffee place or any other food establishment that are 3000 times busier still don't act as unfriendly. Mostly likely throwing the rest of my gift card in the trash. I'm a very friendly person so on my end I atleast told them to have a good day and thank you very much. Didn't get the same...
