OMG!! More like Stay away Ho!! Never had a really bad Chinese food in my life and I'm chinese!!! I'm saying every single dish!! SO BAD!! We should have left after the first 3 dishes!!! We went there on Monday after the afternoon at the beach and want to get Chinese food for dinner before an hour drive home. We have 12 peoples so I ordered 8 dishes for the table to share. First 2 dishes came so fast and there were Pork fried rice and Pork strip. Fri rice smell very weird and sour as they use rice that were sitting in the warm kitchen a a couple of day and the strip pork which not a strip at all look like slice of small size bologna and so dry, my daughter ate one and no one else want to eat it. I send back the fried rice and tell the owner to change to general Gao chicken instead which look like they use frozen chicken to cook it real quick, I took a bite and tell eveyone not to touch it. the other 4 dishes had a different name but they all have the same sauce on top and were very salty and sauce were so thick almost like already made and left in the pot for a long time. Shrimp lomein... the noodle is hard , beef chow fun.. beef is smell weird so we only took a fews bite from the plate. For the price ... small plate for $15.95 for almost every dish.. the plate were flat so food over flow and the owner who is the server.. his thump was inside the food... I was going to order appetizer but $13 for crab rangoon!! glad i decided not to. IThe owner give us a bill and I told him that I'm not paying for general Gao but will pay for other even many of them were still almost the full plate left and still give hime 10% tip which I feel regret afterward ( the owner is the one who serve us). Oh the price My sister in law told them that your food is horrible and they say Oh well!! The whole night I was worry about my family might get sick from the food!! To the owner if you read this review, I don't know how you stay in business with is kind of food you serve peoples..especially with bad meat!! one of these day you could kill some one with food poisoning especially elderly. My father who is 87 could get very sick and I'm glad that I told him to stop...
Read moreIf i could leave a 1/16th of a star i would. I usually do not leave bad reviews but I feel like I have to warn others before making a very bad choice. First off, the prices are WAY to high.....order of crab rangoon will set you back $10 and a pu-pu platter for 2 is about $26 and doesn't contain crab rangoon. So we ordered a pu-pu platter and an order of chow foon. The full order comes out about 6 minutes later (1st red-flag). The chow foon was black because of how much soy sauce they used and all it had in it was a couple pieces of beef, been sprouts and the noodles. Next, everything in the pu-pu platter was disgusting. The chicken fingers were refried and tasted like nasty burnt oil. The boneless spare ribs were flavorless and had the consistency of beef jerky or like they had been microwaved. After we tried a few things and tasted how terrible it was, the waitress came over and asked if we wanted to take anything to go, considering 95% of our order was untouched and I said no thanks, she grabbed the watered down duck sauce and tossed it on the platter and walked away and never asked anything about the meal. My guess would be this happenes often. This experience cost us $65 and hopefully we can save you from...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Way Ho with 2 of our friends recently- arrived late- 9:45. They did say kitchen was closing at 10, but hours are until 12 am. The waitress was sort of straight faced at first, but when my friend joked with her, she was very charming - so just be nice to them and they are nice back :). The bartender?- I believe? came to clear plates and help with anything else we needed. He was so very kind, and I thought it was great that everyone works together like that. The food arrived very quickly. The Bok Choy was one of the best things I have ever eaten- REALLY!! It was garlicky, steamed perfectly and just plain heaven. Tip- if you like Brocolli Rabe, you will love it- tastes even better. The price is a little high, but that was worth it. The crab rangoons were very good- nicely proportioned. Lo Mein was pretty good. Shrimp with vegetables was very fresh, although could use a variety of veges, not just carrots and peapods. Unfortunately, the boneless spare ribs were fatty and greasy- not too good. All in all- good experience, just depends on...
