Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Love, love, love Freddy's steak burgers, fries, chili cheese fries, milkshakes, sundaes and ice cream treats. Haven't had a bad food item here yet! Staff are almost always friendly. Some are extra awesome and go out of their way to be a superstar! The only complaint I have is that you can place an order online in their app, but you cannot pick it up thru the drive-thru or curbside. You must go inside and pick up yourself. I questioned a Manager about why this policy and was told it was corporate...local had no choice. I love the fact that the food is cooked fresh upon arrival, but other than being able to place my own order, it's kind of pointless to operate the pickup of app placed orders this way. Certainly wish corporate would either explain why it's a necessary policy or figure a way to change it. Every other chain and restaurant has figured out how to do curbside efficiently. Can 'ya help us out here Freddy's?!? I know I'm not the only one wondering / questioning...I've heard it discussed while waiting for my orders numerous times. Stop for the food- you won't be...

DO NOT ORDER FOR PICKUP!

I don't want to leave less than 5 stars for Freddy's because they ARE FOR SURE my favorite burger place in Bowling Green.

However, today, for the first and LAST time, we ordered ahead for pickup (knowing we would be there at a busy time of the day). We will NEVER EVER EVER do that again!

All the food was cold (and we picked it up on time). The fries were soggy. It was awful.

We normally just do the drive-thru and the food is perfect in every way. So, go there. Eat their wonderful food. But DO NOT order ahead.

When you go thru the drive-thru, the fries are the absolute BEST. As are the burgers. I'm accustomed to good fast food in a metropolitan area and Freddy's is BY FAR the best of the best. Their custard is amazing too.

Just don't order for carryout. ...

The food is great, customer service was terrible. All but one person that I interacted with was rude. I placed a mobile order as well as a drive thru order. They had me pull up to the patio so they could bring me my drive thru order. They don't accommodate people with disabilities. If you order ahead for curbside pickup, forget it. They apparently don't offer it even though it's available in the app. They wouldn't let me pick up my order through the drive thru window. & They insisted it was against policy to bring my mobile order when they were already bringing my drive thru order. So I had to park at the end of the parking lot & walk all the way inside with a spinal injury because every handicap accessible spot was taken by someone without a handicap...
