I'm normally not a Karen about this kind of thing. I work in the restaurant business. I understand being short staffed and busy. It's not their fault that they're short staffed, but how they handle it is their fault. KFC Scottville Rd. I always go here, and I come here often, but this has NEVER happened. I'm usually the 1st to defend them, but after today, I see what everyone else's problem was. I placed a mobile order for KFC at 5:56pm. The app said that it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. I show up around 6:15 to be told that the ONLY thing that I was waiting on was the Mac n Cheese which would be 17 minutes. No biggie. I could wait 17 minutes. Around 630 comes around, and the lobby is fiing with customers. No one greets them. A family walked out because they waiting over 10 minutes to be ignored. I hear the back talk about Shaun's order and how I was waiting on Mac n Cheese. They then start yelling about drice thru times being under 5 minutes, meanwhile the lobby is waiting 30+ minutes for their food. I start getting a little upset around 650, an HOUR after I placed my order, 30 minutes after the app said it was ready. (To me, it seems like they took my order andngave it to the drice thru because they needed to keep the time under 5 minutes.) The lobby was filled with 4-5 other people waiting on their orders (Doordash and Uber) and I told them how at that point, it had been over an hour since I had ordered and 45 minutes after being told I'd be waiting 17 minutes. They hadnt greeted most of them, which is why I even said anything. Most of them were just standing, waiting to be helped. I FINALLY received my order at 7:15 - over an hour after the app said it was ready. They still forgot my 2 chicken tenders, so I had to go back up for those. They were dry, old, and tiny for costing $5. No apology for the wait. It wasn't worth the $50 we spent. It's the lack of communication...

I also ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and slaw as side orders . When I picked it up it was a messed up order . There were three of them and none of them knew what they were doing . they had me one individual serving of each but at the window he told me that I ordered green beans . I told him no anyway they didn't even know what a pint of potatoes or cole slaw was . Finally I just told them to just give me two orders of the individual size which they did . When I got home there was one biscuit and the livers were cooked so hard and so very salty that they were uneatable . The cost has been $11.63 . For some reason , this time the person who took my order said it was $15.93. When I questioned why , I was told there was an additional charge for each piece of chicken . I have been coming to this location for at least three years and ordering the same meal. This was the first time it would have been this costly.
