Bud's Chicken and Seafood — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

Omg what a great day... My name is Brandon K Carter. I live in Miami. And I come to Delray Beach to check on my son...who's girlfriend is 42 weeks pregnant. I brought my nephew Travis to see his cousin. I informed me he was interested in a job at budd as he recently moved here from Jacksonville Florida & will be moving to Boynton beach June first. When I found out his interest...I quickly insisted he apply. I have been coming to buds for over 20 years. I remember when they actually picked one up in Delray & moved the whole building to historic 5th avenue know as "West Settlers District". Anyway... the summer of 2022 I had multiple tragedies...death of my son, divorce & my home burned. At that I was renting a room in Boynton Beach & I was grieving, morning & filled with sorrow. I survived off your cold boxes. I distinctly remember mz. Julie.... During that time my days were dark. & Mz. Julie was my light. On one occasion I was short... My head was down & I was ashamed & embarrassed. Mz. Julie made sure I was fed. I remember like yesterday the feeling, "Joy of the Lord" I was brought to years b the gesture of kindness. I will never forget her because the care & love I felt that day. Fast forward.... 1 year later I see he again. My mother diedd in February... I did not want to bare bad need again so I just ordered a cold box. They were sold out & mz. Julie insisted I be sold a cold box dated today. I don't think she recognized me. But, here we go with another act of kindness....... I see the price is higher & explained to her our interactio a year prior. Surprise to me she actually remembered me. Costumer service is one thing...personal service is a whole nother level. I feel like we are family. I am choked up are I write this review. For the hospitality extended to was above and beyond although, I this review is lengthy..words cannot explain how I truly feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart....

0 stars wouldnt know how the food was but normally its good but in this case i order from Buds web site to deliver, and they hired Uber to deliver first having a stop before me i watched on the tracker and he was circling the wrong address so i called him and no answer, text him told him to call he said got it. well never called me then i got text order delivered well not to my address it wasnt. contact Buds was told to contact Uber did that they said they show no order sense it was off the Buds web site, call Buds again the rude manager gets on phone talking over me so i couldnt explain and kept saying contact Uber, didnt get no where so i will be filing a dispute on my credit card thank god i have all the texts with the driver, this is very poor delivery service on Buds part love there chicken but you lost a customer for sure....please dont reply with your auto reply like all the other low star reviews lol

If you are in the mood for fatty chicken (thighs) the leg was a 6, coleslaw that taste like it sat in someone's refrigerator uncovered for a week with a side of unprovoked attitude then this is the place to go. The best thing was the fries. This place will never get any more of my hard earned money. The young lady that took my order was pleasant but the young lady that gave me my order. Rude for no reason. One would have thought we had history. Maybe she was upset that I came in the restaurant while she was in conversation with the cashier. To think I drive from Boca to Boynton to support this establishment. I wish I took a photo of what I threw away. Spend $10.00 elsewhere
