Byrd's Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

My husband and I both looooove this place! My husband loves #2 combo which is the chicken tenders with sides and a drink. The chicken tenders are huuuge! I love #5 combo which is a chicken sandwich but instead of regular buns, it's with a donut. It's the perfect combination! The spicy chicken is perfect, crispy and well seasoned on the outside while the inside is perfectly cooked and moist chicken white meat The donut makes this whole thing work, because it gives me a good break from the spicy hot goodness. The donut is even toasted on the inside, these guys really know their stuff! I order medium spicy, which is hot. My husband who usually enjoys buffalo hot wings was sweating through the medium spicy and so he ordered mild the 2nd time we came back. The fries are sooo gooood, especially with the spicy seasoning! It's probably one of the best fries I've ever had. It's my favorite side so far, but will have to try the others some time. All made to order so it's really good!

The guys here are super nice, warm, kind, and welcoming! Parking was easy, it's literally right next to El Atico. The TVs are usually on a sports channel, but you can definitely have conversations as the volume is kept at a good level.

Hello! I am a food reviewer and a foodie, and heres what I think of Byrd’s Hot Chicken.

When you walk in — it is self service, so be mindful that there is no one available to greet your or take your order (or you can request a cashier im pretty sure) but you can scroll through options and the menu from the Kiosk.

The prices are horrendous, and not really worth it. I had the sandwich combo, with hot spice. — the sandwich only has one tender, you can barely taste any chicken, mostly only batter and it tastes like papirka and doesnt really have any bursting flavors of spice. The fries were fried perfectly and tasted crispy and fresh. It tastes great with the sauce, but they are very stingy with the sauce. It was just a squirt of sauce , tastes great, but they can definitely give more.

The staff was friendly and not rude. The atmosphere is great inside and really vibrant with a great vibe — the bathroom is clean and tidy.

Overall — If this is something that you want to try, then I would recommend you to try it and taste to see if it suits you, but I would not really recommend anyone this restaurant, or their food, especially their prices and etc.

Stopped by for the first time for a quick lunch. I've been waiting for this spot to open for months. Well worth the wait! The owner was so friendly and kind. We ordered the chicken sandwich and a tender with fried green beans, wanted to sample a few things. He offered us a side of Mac and cheese and 2 free sodas for free. Such a kind gesture. The chicken sandwich was white meat and so crispy and well seasoned. The mild sauce was the perfect level of spice for my tastes. But what blew me away was the different flavors of spice in the breading and sauce. You can tell the sauces were homemade and specially designed for Byrd's brand of chicken. The sandwich came with some crunchy slaw and tangy pickles on a soft and buttered bun. The fried tender was moist and crunchy as it should be. Green beans were super flavorful with their 24k sauce which was like a savory, horseradish, bbq style sauce. And the Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious with a mild cheese flavor that contrasted wonderfully with the spices of the chicken. This place is dangerously close to me and I have a feeling it will be my new crispy chicken spot. Thank you for finally opening Byrd's Hot Chicken and thank you for the hospitality. See...
