Boynton Pizza — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

We just had a horrendous experience with Boynton Pizza. We have been customers for more than five years and they are now lying point blank to our face. Ordered a pizza and was told it would be one hour for delivery. After an hour and 15 minutes we called and were told the driver was just leaving the restaurant. When I called back 20 minutes later I was now told the driver was just leaving the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager/owner and he had no explanation for why I was lied to 20 minutes earlier. He then reiterated that the driver had left with our delivery. I hung up and he called back and asked if we wanted our pizza. When I reminded him that he just told me minutes earlier that the driver had left with our order, he told me he called the driver back apparently to deliver another order. I will never order anything for Boynton Pizza. They were rude, arrogant, and totally condescending. There are a lot of pizza places in the area, and anyone would be foolish to order from them. The pizza here is actually good, and I used to be a regular customer who just came in, picked up my order, and left without any issues. However, my experience was soured by the behavior of the owner's wife, Lejla. I always kept to myself, but she would constantly give me strange and unfriendly looks. I brushed it off until one day I happened to be at the nail salon next door, where she was also getting her nails done.

She sat across from me with her husband, making unnecessary comments—some in Albanian—while clearly trying to show off and draw attention to herself. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering this is a local business. Interestingly, her attitude shifted once her husband left.

This is a relatively small place. I believe it’s mostly take out. Their food is excellent though. So don’t let the lack of tables fool you. They take pride in their food and it shows. Their pizza is a thin crust that is light and tasty. Their toppings are fresh and plenty full. Their sauce is a tad sweet and savory. We adore their pizza. Their Chicken Alfredo is a huge portion, enough for 2 people. It is light and flavorful. Not over kill on the flavor which is nice. Their strombolis are customizable and soooooooooo cheesy and yummy! No to mention they use great meat and veggies to fill them. Their garlic rolls are to die for. Plain and simple. Perfect mix of garlic cheese oil and fluffy rolls!
