Went there for the first time this evening with my family of four. We were seated at a table next to bugs coming out of the wall I tried to contain my concern and still give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt.
My young son wanted chicken wings and fried rice, when his chicken wings arrived they were still completely bloody so much so it was dripping on the plate. The waitress saw my concern and said she would bring him some more wings in five minutes.
In the mean time we ate the mediocre pho with no vegetables that’s was given to the remaining three of us. I did not get my own setup tray I was told I had to share and she only gave us two setups. The beef was all fat with very low grade meat and extremely oily broth.
Five minutes go by the chicken wings coke back but they’re the same exact wings except this time completely burnt to a crisp. I mean BLACK breading. And we kindly said we aren’t going to be able to eat those. She asked if we wanted a box we said no thanks. She said well you have to pay for it because you ordered it. Then I stated I’m not paying for them. She said she would check with her boss. She comes back with a check with the wings crossed out. But of course the math is wrong. Just enough to almost offset the salmonella risk of a mistake they made. Then we decided ok fine we will pay in cash the full amount even though the math was wrong. She comes to the table to collect the check and says “So you don’t have enough money to pay the bill?” And We were flabbergasted, then she says you’re missing 19 cents. (The quarter fell behind the check) we told her yes all the money is there and she said Oh I see the quarter and stormed off.
This day and time our money is so valuable and eating out with a family of four is the cost of at least a water bill and that being said you expect a friendly clean environment with exceptional food. Instead we were treated horribly accused of not having enough money in front of not only our children but the whole restaurant and severely undercooked food which is extremely high risk for a mother with stage 4 breast cancer. Please do not support this restaurant I would not want anymone else to have this experience.
I have the video of the not being able to pay portion but you do the math below and you can see the proof. Use your...
Read moreI have had the worst experience dining out ever at this restaurant. Save your money and time and go to litterally any other pho restaurant. After coming in at 12:34 no tables we set and I had to wait to sit down even though the hours of operation said they opened at 11 am. After ordering a chicken pho I asked the waitress to add vermicelli noodles as well. I wanted just chicken and she did her duty to try and upsell me to get the combo with beef and pork to that I explained I do not eat pork or beef I just wanted chicken. A weird gentleman that is either the manager or hostess came up to me 4 times asking me if I was sure about ordering all my food to which I replied yes. Everytime he walked up to me fidgeting and unable to stand still and mumbling under his breath. Then he asked me if anyone was coming to join I said no I’m alone and he said that’s weird and walked away. After giving me my vermicelli noodles I hadn’t even taken a bite before he came again and said I’m not making you your pho until you eat all of this food in front of you I don’t care. And I had it. I have never had a person be so openly disrespectful with other customers within hearing distance. I asked them to wrap my food up and I’ll pay for what I had in front of me and they tried to force me to pay for the pho claiming they already made it even though they had just stated they weren’t going to make it until I ate my first plate. Last of all I’m a paying adult customer. I don’t need a weird (acted like he was under the influence) man telling me what I can and can’t eat. When I got home to eat the chicken was rubbery and overcooked and the iceberg lettuce was browning....
Read moreHere’s the run down of this place. We only have been doing take out but every time it has been a great experience. Customer Service: The gentleman who takes our order is always so relaxed and nice. Very polite which is a breath of fresh air because restaurants around here have been rude.
Food: I’ve been trying out different places but this place has the best broth for pho but that’s because I like clean broth. Other places have very fatty oily broths and it ruins the noodles and the soup itself. So, if you’re looking for a good pho order it from here. Other foods they have are very fresh and their dumplings are to die for. I noticed their appetizers have creative sauces that come with them as well. Their selections on food are straight to the point and simple but are full of flavors and filling meals.
Store: Whenever we go pick up the food the restaurant is always clean and tidy! Very calming and quiet atmosphere. (Note: whoever complained about them having a small kitchen is ridiculous. Does it really matter how big the kitchen is as long as they are clean and the food tastes great?)
Time: We have ordered food their on different times of the day and every time they have been very prompt and the food always hot. Which I appreciate a lot. SO, if you are looking for good Vietnamese food order...
