Most would say 2020 was not their best year. But for me, that was far from the case. I learned something I had wanted to do for years. I walked into nearby Force-E Riviera and signed up to become an open water diver.
It changed my life!
Force-E instructor John Richert was my teacher. He is a stellar instructor and possesses all the qualities one would need when learning how to do something like this. He was patient with all of his students, and thorough. The experience was so good, one year later I returned to him for my advanced certification.
Whenever I walk into any Force-E location, I am always greeted by name and with smiles. The staff is always eager to help with any questions I may have. They’re also willing audiences for any of my dive stories or videos I’ve captured on this incredible journey. That means so much to me. Because it shows how passionate they are about the sport and the people who enjoy it.
I could go on about their incredibly fun events put together by Nikole Heath (The Halloween costume dive was a personal favorite of mine- my Axl Rose costume is ready again for this year! :-). The shore dive meet-ups I did with Instructor Roman Giconi proved to be not only to be great well led dives, but gave me the chance to meet like-minded people who I have become friends with as a result.
On one of the shore dive events, we spotted a rare treat: a hammerhead shark! Instructor Danielle “Dani” Pierone was leading that dive and it is always an amazing time with her company and leadership. Just this past weekend, on a deep dive to the Castor wreck, the current was ripping and the dive was challenging. Despite the difficulty (and the fact that I had never been to this wreck before) I felt so comforted to know that she was at our side. She is such kind and caring person. While leading a boat dive one time, she showed me how you can rebuild broken barrel sponges and clean harmful algae off sea branches. These gestures, however small, had a profound effect on me. The ocean is so important, and if we can all do our part, we can make positive change happen collectively for the better.
As a teacher myself, I recognize that the wonderful people that work at Force-E are kindred spirits. They give so much of themselves- whether it is helping find the right gear, filling tanks, or instructing. On the water, they make sure that that everyone is safe and has a great time diving. Please make sure that if you ever have the chance to be taken care of by these individuals, that you return the kindness however best you can.
To all the wonderful people who work at Force-E, thank you from the bottom of my...
Read moreRafael, dive master, at the Boca location was amazing! I went with one of my friends for her certification dive (I am already certified but hadn’t been in the water since before the pandemic). I highly recommend asking for him, when you do your next dive! He took us to both a reef, as well as a wreck, on our two dives yesterday (out of Pompano, FL). He made us both feel at ease and it felt like I was going with another friend! I also recommend highly, Teddie, at the Boynton Beach Force-E Scuba, scuba shop! We went to the shop to get a Camera early Saturday morning and found that they were out of them. When my girlfriend explained that she was doing her certification dive and that I was coming with her (already certified), he said he would go home and grab his personal camera and bring it to us so that we could record the dive! Amazing customer service! He has one us over for life! Finally, I also highly recommend the Boynton Beach shop, due to the extra care we received from Dani, Who helped fit us with the gear that we were looking for! She was so patient with us when we were trying to choose our masks and helped us with several recommendations we asked about! Once again, terrific customer service! I plan to always use Force-E, every time I plan to do a dive, in the South Florida area! Way to go Force-E Boca Raton, FL location, Rafael - Dive Master AND Force-E Boynton Beach, Florida, store employees, Teddie and Dani! You are all amazing and your company should be proud that they...
Read moreMy partner and I recently completed OW and EANX 40 certifications with Teddie B, and could not speak higher of this experience!
We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of training Teddie provided, attention to detail and safety, and absolutely grateful to have had such a knowledgeable, kind, cool and patient master instructor; culminating in an incredible experience overall.
In addition to the first class training provided, everyone we've interacted from the dive shop was friendly, knowledgable, non-pushy, and all possessed a genuine passion for service, and insuring customers have the best possible dive experiences.
In addition, the dive shop has a great vibe with a price match assurance, a solid loyalty program, fills on-site, and quality products stocked along with a great return/exchange policy.
Anyone considering an OW certification or beyond, look no further, Teddie B is an absolute standout instructor, and literally, someone you can confidently intrust yours or your loved ones life with.
Anyone hesitant on Scuba certification for a silly reason or another, give Teddie B or another Force-E instructor, a shot in a Try-Scuba class and you'll soon be well on your way adventuring into the tranquil beauty of the Ocean and addicted to diving.
A++ and a thank you to the...
