Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

You know honestly, I love coldstones and never had a problem while living in Actual South FL, but ever since I've moved up to Palm Beach county.. I'm just not really interested in giving them, especially not this particular location, my hard earned money anymore. Almost Every Single Time I've gone, I've been met with someone with an attitude for no apparent reason. This last visit was the last straw. I asked an employee (who seemed nice) to be "a little generous" with an ingredient for my sister's order (a phrase I was lead to believe she often uses herself) and when I saw she didn't even add the full portion of a topping in my personal order, I apologetically asked if she could add just a little more. She charged me for two extra toppings for those two requests... Now if that's their policy, I completely understand. But she never said anything and made it seem like it was no big deal to add a dash more of this and a pinch more of that. Furthermore, when I called back to ask about it she admitted she messed up but before I processed her words I proffered an excuse as to how the onus could've been on me... Which she immediately jumped on and said 'yes that's why, sorry there's nothing you can do about it now' ... I didn't argue, after all it's just $2, but it's the principle of the matter. If you made a mistake just apologize and try to right your wrong. Is coldstones going to shut down if you offer to give me back my $1.58? How many ppl will actually drive back to get their money back anyways?! ... I swore after 5 poor experiences here to never return to...

Had the WORST experience I have ever had at any restaurant, much less an ice cream shop, while purchasing a milkshake for my boyfriend last Saturday night around 10pm. 2 employees ignored me, my friends, and another patron that had come in shortly after us for upwards of 8 minutes while simultaneously laughing and talking super loud in the back room, only to emerge to retrieve their cell phones, put their own money in the register directly from their purse for some reason and return to the back room. There was one young lady in the front helping someone in front of us at the pace of a snail. Finally, it was my turn one of the young ladies from the back came out only long enough to quickly make my milk shake and returned to the back to laugh some more with the other girl(the one who put money in the register and came out to play on her cell phone) And completely ignored my other friends for another 5 minutes. The girl in the front ringing everyone out had to stick her head into the back room and loudly shush the two loud girls. Normally a gr8 place. This night was awful..large line when we arrived...as our turn was next everyone (workers) disappeared into back. And left 2 employees out front one of which could only scoop ice cream. The other would make our shakes which took 10 min back and forth to the back for the pitchers which all seemed to malfunction. I soooo almost walked out. But my 12 and 13yr old would have been disappointed. Just the worst... seems the crew was more interested in preparing to close up than finish seems we were the last. (Closing time was still 15 min away. Also had to wait to pay.. an employee came from in back to charge herself something and stated..."
