Sometimes I wait a long time for service but never say anything, today was bad…… 3 tables outside, I waited 20 minutes for a server, MELLISA comes out with her bad attitude towards me, very immature, she’s got a lot of growing up to do!! you think she’s say sorry for the wait,, I’ve been nothing but nice to this chick, always, nasty took my order and she disappeared, I wanted more water, no server, I asked Delery for Parmesan & a box, and another gal brought my bill, I even asked someone to get MELLISA for me and she never came out, I have been nothing but nice , extremely nice to everyone, so if you don’t like me, That’s on YOU! , i don’t care if you like me or not, that’s on you!! I don’t play with that kind of nonsense…don’t take your problems out on me, do your job!!! And if you managers don’t care about your customers , there’s plenty of other restaurants and first watches around!! I spend a lot of money here and I expect at least some decent service!! Don’t you have meetings on customer service, maybe you should! Yes people have bad days but your job is to serve the customers…… BTW…… Shout out to MICHELLE, DELERY, ALLISON, CARMEN & CRAIG, they have always been nice & courteous to me with excellent service! As a regular customer of First Watch and someone who truly enjoys brunch—whether solo or with business partners—I’ve always appreciated the consistency and quality of the experience. Unfortunately, during my recent visit to the Boynton Beach location (on Congress and Boynton Beach Blvd), I was left disappointed.
To start on a positive note, the hostess who greeted me was very kind, and the server was also courteous. However, my meal was incomplete—I never received my toast, which is essential for me to enjoy my eggs. It took over seven minutes for anyone to check on me or take my order, which is concerning for any restaurant, especially during brunch hours.
I understand that staffing challenges happen, and I empathize with that. But if the restaurant is short-staffed, it would be respectful to inform guests upon arrival so we can manage expectations.
When I expressed my concerns to the manager at checkout, he seemed indifferent. I explained that I was paying full price for an incomplete meal, and while he initially mentioned offering a gift card, he then dismissed it, stating nothing was available at the moment. I want to clarify: I was not looking for anything for free—I value quality service and a complete dining experience, especially when I’m paying for it.

Read moreI recently visited the First Watch Gateway location at 1880 N Congress Ave, Ste 170, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, and had an extremely disappointing experience. My girlfriend, who is pregnant, placed an online order, which was charged to her debit card four times. When I went to pick up the order, I was charged again at the register. I showed Craig, the employee, the bank statement with the transactions, but he rudely dismissed it, claiming the charges weren’t from First Watch. To make matters worse, when I showed Hana, the original employee I spoke to, the statement, she treated me disrespectfully, saying “please stop shoving the phone in my face” in a condescending manner. This felt particularly embarrassing and dehumanizing, especially in front of other customers.
Thankfully, Sam, another employee, stepped in and was very helpful. He acknowledged the issues with online orders and provided me with the contact information for a refund. I truly appreciated Sam’s professionalism and assistance in resolving the situation.
Despite the poor service from Craig and Hana, I was able to purchase my order and tipped Sam for his efforts. However, as I was leaving, Craig shouted at me, “find something better to do with life,” which was completely uncalled for and highly unprofessional.
