Food: Good enough. The fries were fresh though and this is what is supporting the good enough phrase. The burger, seemed rushed. Service: Room for improvement, when inconveniences occur.
This used to be one of the best McDonald's in this region regarding food freshness and service. I've been to that many in the South Florida area. But, today was a service disappointment. I enter, place my order at the kiosk, then proceeded to the register. No receipt came out of the kiosk (this is significant for this review). I inform the cashier, Bradley, I ordered at the kiosk After about five or ten minutes of waiting and employees repeatedly looking through orders to see if it was selected as completed Marie, a lovely lady, vented her frustration and became snappy with me by saying, "[if you ordered a receipt would have printed out]." This really is about how this was said. I reply, "I did place an order at the kiosk and no receipt came out. There must be no receipt paper." It was at this point that I nearly walked out. One Marie projected fault of the establishment onto me by implying I was lying. Not to mention she probably thought I was trying to get free food. This is an assumption. I would have just asked if that was the case. Prior to Bradley calling Marie over I informed him I still needed to pay. Therefore, when Marie came over I am unaware of what the mix-up was about. She eventually figured it out. But, after the damage was done. I did say the wrong number, the first in a series of three. The number was 092. Nonetheless, for a McDonald's kiosk to have no receipt tape and to receive the frustration of someone, no matter how lovely, is not something expected to be experienced going to grab a bite to eat. Additionally, ensuring receipt paper is in the kiosk could have avoided this entire scenario. When troubleshooting, diagnosing, why the order was not appearing there has to be a process in place. That process should have been explained throughout to create the illusion of not having an extended wait time. Even with this inconvenience this could have been handled better. Then, this McDonald's would have more stars. Bradley was pleasant. But, in my opinion Marie that is not a good look in front of a subordinate employee. After all of the waiting, stomach on E and growling, and receiving someone's frustration when this scenario was not my fault, no free extra fry or drink... Redemption is always available with Adventurous Loner. If I visit again. My feelings are kind of hurt Marie. You made me feel bad. Fresh fries really kept this from being a one star...
Read moreIf I could I would not even give one star. So I decided to go by this McDonaldâs on my way home, my daughters kept wanting a happy meal. So I obliged. Went through the drive thru, of course smooth sailing to the first window. I order three kids meals, and a number 7 medium. I get to the 2nd window to receive my food, I asked to add one mcchicken to the order, the girl yelled it out then came to the window and said no, I have to go all the way back around and wait in line to order the one item. Now, I have only had to order at the window literally twice due to forgetting an item. Each time it was no issue and I actually know for a fact they are suppose to ring it in and give it the customer. I was not about to have the discussion at the window. So I let it go, kept a smile on my face. Received my food, and we came home. My daughter did not even get the sweet and sour for her chicken nuggets. The fries we all received were lukewarm and soggy. Then my eldest daughter had a McDouble kids meal. She was eating and started to pull something out of her mouth and it was a red hair kind of short. Now my children have black hair (really long) and I have short blonde hair. Immediately I told my children to throw all the food away. I did the same. I will never return to this establishment again. Absolutely appalling to find hair first off and the customer service was horrible. Well the gentleman that took my order was very nice. Will not return and will be posting this everywhere....
Read moreThis was on a Tuesday morning. I recently moved to the area. The person taking the orders for the drive through wasnât courteous at all and in a hurry (I understand that the drive through is a fast moving way but geez!!!! You couldnât even review the menu board to select your order! I donât go to McDonaldâs for breakfast often so I donât know their menu by heart. I ordered a âcombo #3â (bacon, egg & cheese on a biscuit), hash brown and coffee. The hash brown tasted like old cooking oil (the bag got oiled immediately). I ordered my coffee with cream and splenda and when I asked if the cream & sweetener was added to the coffee (I needed to continue driving) the attendant said âI donât knowâ đł so she gave me the cream and the sweetener and I had to drive a little bit and park my vehicle to put the cream and sweetener to my coffee. I think going through the drive through defeated the purpose... One good thing was that after I put the cream and sweetener, the...
