Smoothie King — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

All stars go to the lovely young woman that basically runs the store by herself in the early morning during the weekdays (I will get her name and update this post). She's always calm, cool and collected and keeps things running all by herself SUPER SMOOTHIE-LY (LOL)- She was also very patient and kind to me when I was having an issue with my SK App...The ONLY reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because the store could definitely use a thorough cleaning especially at the front end. It's a bit dusty and people tend to leave trash and around the trash can and front there's spillage from the smoothies which is to be expected during a busy time of day...but I've noticed the same stains throughout the store during the whole week- which means the owner should bring in more help or have an outside cleaning service come in and do a deep cleaning every week at a minimum. Other than that, I literally drive 15 mins the opposite direction of my office just to this location bc of the delightful service (which can be hard to come by nowadays) and delicious smoothies!! Disappointing Service Experience at Smoothie King

I have never encountered such bad service before. It seems Smoothie King has hired young employees who lack proper customer service skills and have miserable attitudes. I walked in excited to treat myself to my favorite Go Coconuts, especially because of the Nutella topping, but my experience was far from pleasant.

Usually, the staff does a great job on giving toppings, and I appreciate it when staff accommodate my requests for more Nutella as they put a light amount. However, this time, the young lady, Onika, had an attitude from the moment I entered. Not only was she unfriendly, but the way she prepared my Go Coconuts was unacceptable. She simply tossed the ingredients together and gave me a disappointingly small portion.

I walked into the Smoothie King in Boynton for the first time this morning. Samantha took really good care of me for being that early and right at the open. I shared with her how I worked as a barista for Starbucks when I was on hiatus in North Carolina. The store manager there was named Samantha. We chatted about when I first heard about Smoothie King. I was interning at a financial services company while in college and the young man, Christopher Carol, who was the broker trainee that was entrusted with looking out for me raved about Smoothie King.
