Delicious. We had a fantastic meal when we visited Rice. We started with the Awesome Crispy Rolls and the name says it all. If you like crunchy foods, these are for you. The Flakey spring roll wrapper around the veggies and glass noodles made for a crispy crunch followed by the chewy noodle filling and dipped into a perfectly sweet sauce that didn't overwhelm the flavors. Next, the Pork Fried Rice was exceptional, full of flavor, and had large pieces of pork that they did not skimp on. The Thai BBQ Chicken was an entire half of a chicken that was seasoned masterfully, allowing the delicious marinade to get into every nook and crack of the chicken to ensure that each bite was full of flavor. Finished with crispy fried skin and a delicious chili sauce, this dish was not a disappointment and could easily serve two or three people with ease. The true star of the night was the Spaghetti Khee Mao Talay. This seafood dish was so packed full of flavor that it is hard to describe. the Thai sauce combined with the seafood created one of the best Asian dishes I have had in recent memory. The perfectly cooked shrimp were seasoned just right, and married with the drunken noodle sauce and noodles, they stood out with each bite. I thought a fight might break out at the table over the last bite, this dish was so good. All of this was priced very reasonably for very large portions. Three of us ate past full and still had leftovers that fed us all for lunch...
Read moreIt was edible, but less than stellar. Coming from a bigger city with an established Thai population, my standards are set very high, but it's really unfortunate that this is probably some of the only Thai food places Montana has to offer and even if I lower my expectations, it falls sort. Having such good reviews, I had high hopes. First of all, the fried won tons were a 1/5; they were literaly a pancake of plain pork, no veggies or other fillings, and the sauce was just a sweet syrupy thing, with very little flavor. And they fell apart halfway through eating them. The Thai red curry was very strange; I've never had a real Thai red curry have frozen peas and no other veggies in it. It normally comes with red peppers maybe carrots and Thai basil at the very least. I also asked for it medium spicy and it was not spicy at all, I had to request chili flakes to add. The fried rice was just salty, it had no other sauce or flavor really. And there wasn't any chili oil or sauces to add to it. Service was really mediocre as well, it seemed like the waitress didn't seem to know what she was talking about and got confused when I asked if the dishes had a spice rating.
Only good thing I can say is it was a decent portion. Enough for leftovers. But it was pretty expensive at...
Read moreHorrible experience for the third time in a row. I had to order for delivery due to self-isolation. I tipped the restaurant for doing their job 🙄 and especially the Dasher. I asked that since I cannot task or smell, please make sure the lid is securely on the soup since my last experiences where just that of pure lack of care on the restaurant’s part. When you can’t smell or taste due to Covid, broth is about all one can stand. The restaurant did NOTHING to secure the contents and $12.50 in soup flooded the bag, the Dasher and my husband. Called the restaurant and “they are not responsible” of course. Lost $79 tonight due to the food, the restaurant’s unjustified tip and delivery fees. Never again. I will not support such business practices and hope others will opt out too. Not the Dasher’s fault. It’s the greedy restaurant’s fault. It’s subpar Thai at best but when one is sick, one must do what one can. Do not patronize this greed who can’t even send food in...
