Having visited tons of countries all over the world, I can quite easily say this is one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I have ever been to! Not only is the food incredible, but the service is top-notch as well. When we visited, we ordered the jumbo shrimp and it had a sauce so exceptional, I would die to have the recipe. We also got an alligator main dish, which, being from Florida, I had slights doubts at how good it would be. Surprisingly enough, it was better than anything I had at home! And these were just daily specials on a random weekday - not even regular menu items! I can’t even begin to imagine how wonderful the other items on the menu are. Sage was an exceptional waitress and kept us engaged, making the experience very enjoyable. Definitely one of the best waiters/waitresses I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and not only did Sage go out of her way to explain all gluten-free items on the menu, she was willing to have the entire kitchen cleaned to allow for zero cross-contamination! That is not something a normal restaurant does, and it was such an amazing gesture. I’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone who visits Bozeman! 😄

Traveling as tourists, we finally found a good review restaurant and drove all the way there. Ordered my favorite TOM YUM GOONG. On my 3 scoop, chewed on a hard thing and pricked my gum. I first thought it was the shell of the clam but after I took it out from my mouth, I was just disgusted. It was a hard plastic and the 2 ends were pretty sharp. I called my server and would like to have a word with the manager. The manager came, after I told her this is horrible, I wasn't expecting this from this high-end place, she started repeating my words and laughing with the server... I asked her why are you laughing, she said:"I wasn't laughing at you." Okay? THEN WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT? At first the manager denied that this was from their restaurant, then she said it's probably from one of their plastic saucer's bottle in the kitchen.... Yes, I would second that...Then she just left... I felt really sick by just thinking about that plastic boiling with the soup that was brought to my table... Felt like vomiting. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone...Just not acceptable....

My wife and I live in Billings. We always went to Sweet Chili when in Bozeman. No more. We quit. This visit was unfortunately a 2 star visit. Why would the chef put fish oil in the Chicken and Beef Basil? That ruined the taste of a multi flavored dish to that of old sardines? The gyoza remained very good. The chocolate layer cake, along with the Caymus Cab, was delicious and mostly killed the dead fish taste. The server Kerry was very pleasant; I asked her to tell the chef that I strongly disagreed with his use of an overpowering fish oil. She possibly chickened out. She brought no feedback from the kitchen. Or any other response. That is not the mark of a high class restaurant. ---- Next day, we just had a much better meal at Olive Garden. Half the price, no fish oil on chicken, chicken actually pan fried, not raw white as at Sweet Chili. What happened ? New owners? ---- My wife and I went back to Sweet Chili one more time. It turned out to be our last. Every item was bad, bland, tasteless, except for the constant fish oil. So now it's a two star restaurant.

Pad Kee Mao AKA Drunken noodles is my favorite meal. I knew the moment I opened the package from this place and saw it the color of Wonder Bread™ White it was going to be bland ,... and lacking even remotely enough sauce as it was the noodles instead of having a slick smoothness to them was more like pasty chalky semi dried Elmer's glue. I have eaten Pad Kee Mao in more countries than I can remember at more places than I could even fathom guessing. This place's rendition ranks as probably the worst & definitely the most expensive/overpriced I have ever encountered anywhere on the globe including London & DEFINITELY the most flavorless. In addition the same BLAND HARDLY FLAVORFUL reality was equally true for the pineapple rice. When I imagine who's actually cooking at this place I imagine someone getting out of a car in Manhattan with Connecticut plates. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the people who have positively reviewed this place are all extremely inexperienced diners and 99.9% White from places like the rural Dakotas = they wouldn't know good Thai food from Twinkies. The food here was so lame I'm genuinely embarrassed for them and resentful for the fact that it essentially amounts to a complete and total ripoff. The prices often indicative of a platter-sized portion come unable to satisfy all but a bird even in the case of wide thick noodles ?? Couture Fashion model portions.... & PRICED TO BUY THE OWNERS ANOTHER MERCEDES. IF YOU LIKE GENUINE THAI FOOD SKIP THIS PLACE AND THEIR MORMON SUMMER CAMP VERSIONS OF IT -- IT'S A BAD JOKE AND AN INSULT TO AUTHENTIC THAI CUISINE. Moreover THEY WILL FLAT OUT LIE TO YOU Telling you that they are out of a particular ingredient, then serve you another dish with that exact ingredient in it as if you are a complete moron... (because that's EXACTLY how they see anyone dumb enough to get ripped off by their restaurant)... if they think it doesn't belong in the dish.... I've encountered this asinine supposed defense of traditional cooking a few other times other places but at least those places actually were practicing traditional authentic recipes. Oh and my portion of Pad Kee Mao had literally maybe a quarter of a whole pepper in eXtremely thinly sliced slivers such that they were overcooked devoid of nutrition and any impactful of flavor AT ALL !!! IT WAS AN EMBARRASSING FOR...

Reservation this evening for 2ppl for 8. Beautiful restaurant great food (according to my husband) and service from our server. Unfortunately my entree had not been prepared as requested according to a strict dietary restriction (egg). Our server tried to correct it and I was informed when she returned at 9:05 on a Saturday (restaurant closes at 9 and there were serval tables remaining - one of which received food after this incident) that the chef is very “strict” the kitchen was now closed and I did not have an option for my meal to be remade.

This is pretty disappointing while I understand the staff want/need to get home I also had no other options for dinner when I left. My meal was removed from the bill as would be expected but I’m still $100 in for dinner for one and going home hungry. This was our first time here and had I known we would’ve chosen another restaurant altogether.

Owner should be aware this was a really poor decision on behalf of the chef. I sincerely hope there was no personal emergency that influenced this situation. Judging by other reviews this closing time issue seems to be a reoccurring theme though as is the inability to accommodate dietary limitations. Im still shocked they would send away a hungry paying customer after an error on their part.

P.S. I called ahead before making the reservation regarding the dietary need and took the recommendation of the server on the entree...

My family stopped in over the weekend and we experienced the worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. I have heard many wonderful things from friends about how good the food is, and that is where the problem starts. We never even got any food, let alone service!! The girl who brought us to our table seemed to have a very snotty attitude, no big deal maybe she was having a bad day? We were looking over the menu and thought to ourselves... wow it's been a long time since anyone has come over to take our order. The staff almost seemed to ignore any sort of eye contact and would not come over to take our order. Eventually 10 minutes had gone by and I had to flag down an employee who was swiftly walking by as if trying to avoid us. We told him we had been waiting for well over 10 minutes to get any sort of service and he handled the situation very poorly. It was almost like he could care less, I asked him if we could order and he said "Oh... I guess I can take your order." We promptly left and went right downstairs to Copper where we had food out in less time than it took a Sweet Chili employee to give us the time of day. Like some others have said in these reviews, remind your staff that the customers are the reason they have a job. I will not be returning may as well go to McDonald's for service like this, I wish it could have...
