Ashley's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Branford

I am a frequent customer (2 sometimes 3 times a week) and I went in with 10 minutes left until closing, I requested a milkshake and the girl Michelle rudely told me she will not make me a milkshake because she already cleaned the machine. I stated I had a peanut allergy and that was more convenient for her regardless. She stated she won't reclean the machine and that I had to select something else. This is the second time I was refused a milkshake the first time I let it go because I'm a frequent customer, but twice is far enough. THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!!! Literally ruined ice cream living in nyc I now am obsessed with Ashley's. Especially their blackberry ice cream flavor. And I don't even like blackberries but this is my new favorite flavor. You have to try it. It's delicious creamy and so so addicting. Defintely get a milkshake in my opinion thats the best way to experience it. I literally sometimes get 2. My one feedback is the staff is usually teenagers who hate their job and aren't very nice. I’m really supportive with locally owned small businesses. My experience at Ashley’s Ice Cream was horrible. The girl that took my order was extremely rude! I stood in line for 10 minutes and she greeted everyone before me that was caucasian with friendliness and good service. Being a minority I questioned that. My wife and son visited Ashley’s Ice Cream last night. I didn’t tell them what I experienced because I’m not sure if it was a misunderstanding on my part.
