Finney's Crafthouse - Brea — Restaurant in Brea

This was definitely a big disappointment. I must be missing something. How can they have multiple locations when the food is meh and the service is just okay. I ordered the double smashburger and it was the size of a McDonald's kid's cheeseburger. It was two smash patties, cheese, and a bun. There was no sauce or anything else. I passed two In-N-Out burgers on the way. That would have been waaaay better. The service was just okay and the restaurant decor wasn't anything special. There are far better choices in Brea. I tried Finney's today for the 1st time and was severely disappointed by the food & service. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and although flavorless, the dish seemed ok at first. After eating half my meal, I noticed that there was a used toothpick covered in sauce beneath my food. I was appalled by this and by the thought that perhaps my plate was not washed properly before serving me my food 🤢 When I mentioned this to the manager on duty, he offered little remorse and no discount. Was truly disappointed with my dining experience, While the servers are friendly, the quality of my meal was sad. The Wagyu burger was overcooked and ordered medium-rare, and came well done. At that point, what's the point of odering Wagyu? The fries had weird taste and were also overcooked. Additionally, hours are posted open until 10 pm, at 9, and everyone was so busy cleaning up to close that we were basically forgotten and had to hunt help down.
