Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Bremen Township

REVISED- (DISCLAIMER- I'M ONLY REVISED MY REVIEW BECAUSE WE ARE ONLY HUMANS AND WE HAVE OUR DAYS, SO INST4EAD OF TRYING TO MAKE A COMPANY LOOK 100%, OTHERS NEED TO KNOW THAT THINGS HAPPEN). So after my review I originally posted on March 12, the headquarters reached out to me on March 19th and stated that the "General Manager" Jennifer will reach out to me within 48hrs. However she did not, but a manager by the name of Robert did reach out on March 19th. He asked what happen and then decided to offer myself and family to come back out to make it right. He did state that he wanted me to delete the review and I explained that I will not until I came back in", he was okay with that. I was supposed to come back in on March 27,2025 but I wasn't able to. He did call and to confirm. However, a week later on April 3rd I was able to come up there.

Now I didn't call to let him know I was coming (due to obvious reasons-I didn't want to get special treatment because I was the guest that made a review.) So, once I got to the restaurant a gentleman was working the host stand, set us and proceeded to let us know who i waiter was. After we ordered our beverages and appetizers, I asked for Robert, and long and be hold the gentleman who sat us was actually the manager who reached out to me, and to my surprise he was not the general manager. That along was good to see a regular manager reaching out and making sure we were taking care of. Any who once he knew who I was he apologized for that to not just me but to 10 yr old as well, (which meant a lot) .... So, to sum it all up, I would revisit this location again. I THANK HIM FOR generally caring about our experience. Thank you Robert.

On March 09,2025 I went in about 7:30 with 12 ppl for my son 10th bday. As I'm headed there I called in and to be wait listed, and the lady told me that she will let them know. As I got there( 10 min after the call) Blair tell me its only one name on the list and it wasn't mine, then says omg I'm sorry I forgot to put it on there. Thank God that my sister beat me there and add her name to the list. As we were waiting, a party finished their food and left, now the person who was bussing the tables ( Venessa) kept walking past the table not cleaning it, NOTHING( which I understand after what Autumn told us). Blair took it upon herself to come bus the table so we sit/ The manager comes out his office ( didn't get his name but he was Hispanic with a ponytail " says to us aggressively " we got a problem, (because we were trying to figure out the sitting arrangement) So the server Autumn tells us that we can get the 2 booths next to each other( then tells us, " I'm going to be honest with you, we have been getting parties all day and no one wants another party, and technically I'm off, but I'll wait on yall). As we sat down, we were rushed( then she says no rush), when our food came out it didn't come out together ( had to wait another 8min for the rest of the food), and it was cold( the ribs and the burgers, and the kids chicken...

I wish I could give zero stars for service at this orland location.The manager Jerry if that’s his name gave me such a bad attitude because I had a complaint with my online order. He was very harsh and unsympathetic, no empathy at all. I ordered the fried chicken platter paid 53.00 and I received the roasted chicken which was uncooked and also my fries. The corn looked like it had been dropped on the floor or handled roughly no seasoning or butter on it at all. The muffins was over cooked the only thing that’s was good was the ribs and brisket which I do not believe I received the correct portion due to me only receiving about 6/7 strips of meat of the brisket I’m unsure what the weigh is for this item so this is not much of a valid compliant against the brisket. The manager Jerry offered me a 15 credit and when I was trying to asked would that be sufficient to get a half friend chicken and fries he continue to talk over me to say I don’t t understand what you want me to say or do I have offered you 15 . again I ask would that be enough to come in place a order for a 1/2 fried chicken and fries and not have to pay he couldn’t answers and became irritated like I was bugging him when as a customer I the right to get clarity of how the issue will be resolved I was not asking to replace the entire order only the portion I was dissatisfied with not much to ask in my opinion so to not get nasty with Jerry I hung up the phone and decided to write a very long review on all platforms . My second bad experience at this location 43 min from my house I may have to travel further because I love their ribs and brisket but never will visit the orland location again . sign a very dissatisfied and hurt customer due to the disrespect I received...

We came in as a family of 7, my sister in law uses a walker so it would've been better to be at tables, but we had to add another chair and cram 7 people into the booth. My inlaws and nephew were very cramped in the booth, not much room to eat. Our server was awesome, can't remember her name, she has a double piercing on her cheek bone. Her energy was great! She didn't forget a thing we asked for, always had a smile, and would always return in a perfect amount of time to check on us. She always offered our refills and base sure we had a great experience. This was my first time at a Famous Dave's, so I'll be sure to return and hopefully receive the same great service or at the least the same server. Keep her! We were there Friday night, January 5th, 2024. We ordered from all over the menu, my mother in law, sister in law, and brother in law shared the meal for 2. I had the half chicken roasted with the Mac and cheese and side of broccoli. The man and cheese is awesome! Corn kernels and jalapeños in the man and cheese make it so freaking good. I'm picky about my Mac and cheese, so this was a great surprise that I enjoyed it. My husband had the Devil's spit burger. He enjoyed it, but the sauce wasn't spicy enough for him. We were told there is a hotter sauce, but at the time, this location was out of it. No biggie! We will definitely be back, maybe just my husband and I next time to get to see how we enjoy the place ourselves. Will definitely go again to see how many more different...
