⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (soft launch grace!) Part of our Tour de Taco crew stopped by the soft launch of Tonas Margarita Bar in Brentwood, and there’s a lot of potential here. The margaritas were excellent — balanced, flavorful, and absolutely worth coming back for (especially since they’re adding a champagne margarita soon 👏). The volcano dip was bubbling and cheesy in all the best ways, and the ribeye tacos were a standout — tender, juicy, and topped with grilled queso fresco. Genius move. Now for the honest part: most of the food came out room temperature and missing a bit of flavor. It wasn’t bad, just felt like they haven’t quite found their rhythm yet. The space is bright and modern, with fun details like the cactus wall and that bold blue mural — super cute spot for drinks or a casual night out. ✨ Bottom line: go for the margaritas, grab the volcano dip, and give them time to hit their stride. I’ll definitely be back for round two once that champagne margarita hits the menu. — Alicia Saint Ives Follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Google Maps for more STL food finds! #STLEats #TheLouAndBeyond #MargaritaTime #TacoTour

Just what we needed after driving for hours; and accessible from our hotel’s parking lot! Great classy yet casual atmosphere, excellent food and service. The jumbo margaritas hit the spot and our tasty, ample meals sustained us for the rest of the day. Carnitas and Camerones Loco were some of the best Mexican food we’ve had.

We dined in for lunch as a group of 10. The service was great (Briana was so sweet and attentive!) and everyone loved their food. I got the Tacos Rancheros- highly recommend. Margs were next level- SO good and so many options. Happy to have a new Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood, will definitely be back!!

Awesome new Mexican restaurant. For only being open a week they seem to run smoothly. The food was great and a little different than your basic Mexican food. The menu meantions Oaxaca style on some items which I learned is a city in Southern Mexico. The atmosphere was very modern and open with lots of natural lighting. It looks sooo much better than your standard old school Mexican restaurant. I went during lunch so it wasn't busy, but the service was still faster than I expected. They looked well staffed and my server was very kind and personable. Food prices were very reasonable for a new restaurant opening up in this economy. They have a lunch special 11am-3pm for only 12 bucks.

Parking isn't the greatest, but that isn't their fault. There is a parking garage next to the lot with tons of room. You'll just have to walk a few more steps, no biggie.

Support local businesses and check this spot out. I'm happy to have gotten to eat there and...

Absolutely stunning exterior with nice decorations and bright colors. Parking garage is free. Inside is spacious and cute with some nice music playing(not overly loud or quite, perfect volume) staff was nice and quick and definitely knew how to pour a good drink. Food came out quick, hot, and SUPER GOOD. Best chicken I have ever had at any restaurant. Great location too, easy to get out of and not overly crowded thanks to the parking garage. Overall if you want some Mexican around the area I couldn’t recommend this...
