After some time of living with outcome of my hair from an appointment here, I felt I needed to write an honest review. When I first booked my appointment here, I was very particular about where I wanted to go, because I love my hair and treat it well. I wanted balayage and was told over the phone that it would be around $160 for my particular stylist. Great! The salon is beautiful and my stylist was sweet, but by the time my hair was being styled at the end of my appointment I could tell it was awful. Iām naturally a brunette and my hair turned ORANGE. I told my stylist I wasnāt happy and expressed my concerns and she told me the ālighting was strangeā and that theyāve complained about it to the owner multiple times, but assured me Iād love it when I got home. I was upset and it got worse when I went to pay and my total was $450! WHAT. I was told they had to use āa lot of tonerā and that was ala carte, but I was never once told this during my appointment or even asked if I wanted the toner in the first place and that the blow dry/style was an extra $45. I expressed my disappointment and they told me I could ācome back next week to fix itā. I ended up coming back and my stylist tried to correct the color, but it was still terrible and the color was hideous. I couldnāt believe for over $500 (with tip) what I was getting (looked like some LāOrĆ©al box color). Since then, my hair has been RUINED.. falling out, fried (Iāve only colored my hair three times my entire life) and I take great care of my hair. Whatever they did, whether during the initial appointment or the follow up to fix it, was a complete disaster. Please, please, please do not go here! I understand MAYBE if you have damaged hair and need extensions (canāt comment on that service) but if you have healthy hair, want quality service, and want transparent pricing, then this is NOT the place for you. I still cry to this day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in for a balayage and saw Jamie who is a level 3 stylist. The outcome of my hair looked like someone did it in their basement in the dark with box bleach. Iām sorry to be blunt but itās my honest experience and review. My hair is brown with light red tones. My hair came out splotchy, orange, and I had really ashy ends. Before she began working, I showed her pictures of what I wanted and explained my hair history that I have only had it professionally done and told her I do not like the red tones in my hair and asked if that was going to be an issue. She said no and while I was processing she said my hair was looking great. She washed me out then toned me for less than 5 minutes and washed it out. She dried my hair but I wasnāt facing the mirror and that made me think she was hiding something. She turned me towards the mirror now that my hair was dry and asked how do I like it? I told her itās orange and looks splotchy. Looks nowhere near the pictures shown. Then she got loud with me and was saying well the red tones in your hair are hard to get to and started to ramble on causing all eyes on us. I ended up paying for the whole thing and called back later and explained what happened. They refunded me some of my money but I still donāt think it was worth what I got. They offered to fix it but why would I come back to a place that did not make me feel welcomed and understanding about my thoughts of my hair. Now Iām going to pay more for someone to color correct it when thatās what she should have offered in the first place. Iām willing to pay 200-400+ dollars for my hair to be right the first time. Over all, this place is way too expensive for what you get. I think itās ridiculous that they charge 45 to dry and style your hair. I do not recommend this place or Jamie...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe only reason I ever came to this salon was to follow my all-time favorite stylist, Ariana C. She has done my hair for years, and although I have to travel 2 hours for my appointments and I end up spending a bit more $ than Iād like, I will never stop going to her. Over the years, we have tried various styles and colors on my hair - she nails it every single time. Once, she cut my daughterās long hair into a pixie cut and it was the cutest cut ever! She can do it all. As talented as Ariana is, the thing that really keeps me coming back is her personality. Ariana is honestly one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know. Iāve met a lot of girls in the beauty industry and they are typically self-obsessed, vain, materialistic, and catty. Ariana is none of that. She is so warm and bubbly, always smiling, always kind. Iāve watched her interact with understudies and coworkers over the many years Iāve gone to her and sheās so helpful and kind to ALL. When I learned that Ariana had moved to CW salon from her previous location, I followed, but was a bit disappointed in the new atmosphere. MTV-style music videos played nonstop on a big TV - and I decided I unfortunately wouldnāt be bringing my teenage daughter back with me to any more appointments. The videos and the inappropriately dressed coworkers (seriously - one stylistās dress was so short I could see literally everything) made me uncomfortable and I certainly didnāt want my daughter thinking these types of girls were trendy and cool. Ariana and her chill, friendly vibe, relaxed, tasteful style (she never dressed like a street walker) stood out from the rest. I recently learned that sweet Ariana is no longer working at this salon and I am so happy I donāt have to go to that...
