Avoid the Rhubarb Kolsch! In no way does this qualify as a Kolsch. It taste like a mediocre Hefeweizen and does not have any taste of Rhubarb. I reached out to the brewer asking if maybe it was mislabeled. I was told that they don't make a Hefeweizen, that their Kolsch recipe was not traditional and what I was tasting was the yeast. That is all good and fine, but to label a beer as a Kolsch, which I have fond memories of having in the Cologne / Bonn region of Germany, and to have it taste like every other wheat ale is just ludicrous. I went there with my girlfriend and it was such a fun experience. I wish I could remember the guys name at the counter but he was super knowledgeable, funny and friendly we had the blue cheese deviled eggs (yum) and the soft pretzel with beer cheese the pretzel was cooked in bacon grease and super flavorful!!!
