1. Service: 100% the BEST service I experienced on my recent travel to the Northeast (Thank you VERY MUCH RACHEL R.). Rachel was uber friendly, incredibly efficient, and truly exuded the Aloha Spirit in how she treated her guests. Her customer service was STELLAR. 2. Food: This was the first time I'd had a lobster roll, but knew I had to have one as we were in Maine. Caveat here is that i didn't have another experience to compare this one to. However, my friends HAD lobster rolls before and were all raving at how good these were. The roll (pictured) was fresh and soft, the lobster was treated in a way in which was simple and allowed the FLAVOR of the lobster to take center stage. I might add that the amount of lobster was very impressive. "Copious" would be a good descriptor. 3. Note(s): The view of the river off the balcony was incredible. Being from Hawaii, snow and ice is not a common sight, and to seeing sheets of ice on the river, and smaller pieces floating down was the cherry on top of our visit to the Sea Dog Brewing Company.

We stopped on a very busy summer Saturday lunch time....and we still received wonderful service. The location is a little out of the way...but well worth seeking out. If the weather is in your favor, I recommend sitting on the deck so that you may dine while taking in the views of the Penobscot River, the waterfront park and trail, as well as the city of Brewer across the way. The food was fantastic! I had the pub burger with onion rings. The burger was done just right and had the flavor of being cooked on an open flame. My wife had the cheesesteak sandwich and rings. She thoroughly enjoyed hers as well and says that she would definitely get it again. Another nice feature is that they brew their own beer on premises. I have tasted beer from all over the country and it is my opinion that the best beer to be enjoyed is coming from the good ol State of Maine. The Sea Dog's entries uphold that Maine tradition. All in all it was a wonderful time and one that we would quickly recommend to family and friends.

I've been here twice in the last 3 days for lunch. I often ask for unusual combinations when I order a sandwich. I am sort of a Reuben connoisseur and like to mix up my protein choices. I asked for a blackened haddock filet instead of the sliced pastrami that is often the usual. The sandwich was absolutely amazing with just the right amount of saurekraut balanced with thousands Is. dressing. The marbled rye bread was nicely toasted and held up well with the moist ingredients. The haddock was perfectly cooked and succulent beyond belief. What a well balanced sandwich! The best I have had since a chunked corned beef brisket reuben up in whitewater Wisconsin. The sweet potatoes fries were awesome too. Page, our waitress, was very accommodating with my unusual requests and even had extra blueberries added to my Blueberry ale. All around a great experience! Thanks to Page for an extraordinary meal and service!

Tried eating here for dinner on 4th of July. They were not too busy as they had seating outside available. After explaining I didn't want to be outside because it was chilly and I had my 9 month old with me and that I would prefer any other seat other than high top the host said no problem and it would be 20 minutes. She asked for my number and said I would get a text when a table was ready. My fiance and I sat there for an hour with no text!! I got there at 6:37 and left at 7:37 to go somewhere else because I noticed Sea Dog closes at 8. Why did your host even bother taking my number if the wait was an hour + and not 20 minutes like she said. To follow up, I NEVER EVEN GOT A TEXT AFTER THE FIRST ONE. Thank you for wasting my family's time. Wont even try this place again.

We went before a concert on Sat and it was absolutely a madhouse of people. Packed!@ However, our 45-minute wait time for 2 turned out to be only 10 minutes. Amazing! Even with the mayhem, the staff stayed professional, fast, and welcoming. Our food server, Kelsey C, was absolutely wonderful. The food came out fast and HOT. Philly Cheesesteak and Veggie wrap. It's probably the best Philly I ever had We liked the Sea Dog so much that we came back the next day for brunch when it was quieter and to enjoy the patio and water front view. We were even lucky to have Kelsey serve us again!

Great beer with floating blueberries and a beautiful view of the river.
