This was a disappointment. So the wait for a table was 30 mins, not unusual for any restaurant on a weekend. But finally seated and waited 40 mins for a waiter to come to our table. It may have been longer if my husband didnt flag someone down to ask if anybody would wait on us. Finally get a waiter who then says she ddnt know she had our table. We order drinks. They were no good. We order food. The fishermans catch and some king crab, snow crab and a batch of fries. The food comes out within 10 mins...... Not normal for fresh seafood. The fisherman platter consist of shrimp, cod, calamari and clam strips fried. Calamari was rubber along with the clam strips. Cod and shrimp taste like it came right out of the freezer at an Aldi supermarket and right into some oil that was too hot which gave off a burnt taste. Now for the Crab platter. The Mr. Crab sauce was no good. Burnt garlic, and type of spice or red pepper flakes in it followed the taste of the garlic. The butter used for the sauce taste like it had been sitting heating all night and to top it off it was salty. The King crab is 46$ a pound for over cooked crab. The snow Crab was another 26 per pound of once again over cooked and dry crab. Sitting in this bag of burnt sauce. The only thing decent were the fries and they came out later than the seafood which should have taken longer to cook if it was fresh. In total it was 160$ for the meal. Over priced, overcooked, overlooked. I will not be returning to this place. The people that come here seriously know nothing about fresh seafood nor good customer service. If you want good seafood go to Crab du jour. The drinks are not that good but the prices are better, good customer service and fresh seafood with great flavor.

We went on a Thursday during lunch time. It was fairly slow. The greeter was also the waitress and bar tender, which is fine if you can multitasks. Started with appetizers, fried clam strips (all batter and fried extremely hard) the sauce was the great (sweet thai chili). He had clam chowder soup which he said was pretty good. I on the other hand had lobster bisque which only had one piece of lobster and the oyster crackers were stale. For our main course he had fried fish sandwich and I had fried shrimp platter. Fries were room temperature with cold ketchup. Fish was clearly frozen fish fried hard. Though i ordered shrimp i was given calamari which i should've kept because it appeared to have been cooked just right. However, i sent it back and my shrimp came out rather fast but i was immediately dissapointed to see how hard they were fried. He asked for the bill we paid and left. I understand they are most popular for their "boil" but that doesn't make it ok to slack on the rest of your menu. Safe to say we won'but be back again. Below is a pic of the food left. Oh don't bother with the coleslaw. The presentation was the best part of that.

This place is absolutely wonderful. We are going to a concert in Hartford this evening and looked for a close restaurant to eat at before going. We lucked out quite a bit having chosen this place. I got crabcakes for an appetizer and they were delicious. Fresh, flavorful and perfectly crispy around the outside. I did not even use any tartar sauce, only a squeeze of lemon. My husband had calamari and I tasted some. I’ll say the same for that. Fresh, tasty, perfectly breaded and delicious. For the main course, I got beer battered fish and shrimp. An absolutely wonderful dish as well. Very flavorful, cooked to perfection, not too greasy at all. My husband got the Fishermans platter, several smaller question the fish kernel calamari, oysters and clams, all breaded and lightly fried. He said it was fantastic. Both dinner dishes came with Cajun fries, they were also very good. The seasoning on the fries was quite tasty and they were perfectly crispy. The atmosphere is nice, the people are friendly and we will definitely go here again if we find ourselves back this way.

Illegal business practices! Worked here briefly until I was let go because the owners attempted to make me pay for a customers check due to their own shortcomings (which is illegal FYI). The manager literally stated the following when I pushed back on their request for me to pay a customers check who had left: "We are going to have to charge you for the mistake" I responded that I never signed any agreement in my employment contract stating I was responsible for lost revenue.

The manager responded that I should pay because I never signed anything that said I WASN'T responsible for lost revenue! Are you serious? Get real, stop bullying people and taking advantage of your employees.

Majority of the food is frozen, and management is shrewd, cheap, and low cost driven in their approach. Ask whether your food is frozen, see what they tell you. Reporting the owners to BBB for their treatment of staff and their attempts to garnish my tips while I was working there. (They literally adjusted the percentage of tips we paid out to whatever they wanted, stating "they were working out the kinks"! This is highly illegal and I have zero respect for the owners to be honest. Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw their...
