Hello,
I had plans on getting a bowl from my local Bridgeton Chipotle located at 3533 Mckelvey Rd. Upon entering the establishment around 7:45pm, I was made aware that they were out of brown rice with no estimated time of having the rice back on line. As I’m getting my bowl prepared by one of the line workers I noticed the proportion sizes seemed to be small regarding my choice of protein I selected. The employee sat my bowl down awaiting for next person to finish. The next person was the Manager on Duty and I asked her was that the appropriate portion size. She then went and grabbed a clear container from under the counter and began to take the chicken out my bowl and place it in the container. She then put that same chicken she removed back into my bowl and at that moment I stated that I wasn’t going to purchase nor eat that bowl that was prepared because of the actions that she did. I asked her to remake my bowl and she told me no because there was nothing wrong with it. My feelings of safety and having my food picked through was not acceptable to her. She then left my bowl right on the counter and serviced other patrons. She then left the line briefly and called the authorities on me citing that I was causing a disturbance. While on the phone several other employees attempted to service me but she told them to stop and to work on other guests. At one point several customer even asked why couldn’t she just remake the bowl so that everything could be right. She was refused to answer them and refused to say anything to me. I even asked why did she call the authorities and she never said anything. She never asked me to leave the store because I would’ve did so respectfully. She willful chose not service a guest for no reason and called the police as an intimidation tactic. Is this how Chipotle runs there operations? I asked for her name and she refused to provide that information as well. She seemed pretty confident that her actions were justified and claimed that I was interrupting service but all other guests were serviced beside me. Would leadership agree with the way I was treated. Please pull the cameras from that location and you would see what she did and what occurred and tell me if you would eat a bowl after someone just did that with your food? She wiped off the counter in her gloves and picked through my food with the same gloves on and the expectation was for me to eat the bowl she just fingered through. I do believe that is a clear violation of ServeSafe. I have video of ending of the interaction and how she is talking to customers. I was never aggressive towards her and still in total disbelief that I was treated that way from one of my favorite restaurants. I hate to say it but this situation has deterred me away from patronizing this business and I will be leaving as much feedback and reviews as I can until that manager is...
Read moreWorst Chipotle I’ve ever been to! Before I explain, first let me say I could eat Chipotle for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so needless to say I’m normally very pleased with my overall experience with Chipotle, especially the food. That’s why I find myself writing this review because I hate to see a place that I love to eat at so much function in such an abysmal way. My issue with this Chipotle isn’t so much the food, even though for some odd reason the chicken at this location did taste a lot saltier than it normally does, my issue is the INCREDIBLY RUDE staff. I don’t go to restaurants, especially Chipotle, for the great customer service experience, I go for the food. Most of the time as long as the food is delicious I can deal with lack luster customer service. However in this case the staff are so rude I’ve decided to avoid this Chipotle at all costs. I’ve been to this Chipotle four times recently because I just got a job in the area and it’s the closest Chipotle I could find. Today will be my last time I go there and I will be forced to go to a less convenient location to get my Chipotle fix. On Wednesday 8/11/2021 at approximately 645pm I walked into this Chipotle and recognized the same staff that were working the last few times I went there. The young lady who was at the start of the assembly line looked like she hated life and was the same young lady I recognized as putting white rice on my burrito after telling her several times I wanted brown rice. This was after she repeated it out loud to me and put white rice anyway, and the same young lady who appeared to get angry when I was forced to correct her. She also doesn’t put a full spoonful of each food item in my burrito. At any other location I’ve always gotten a heaping spoonful of rice, black beans and chicken. It puts me, as the customer, in an awkward position to have to ask for more. Next young lady in the assembly line appeared to sprinkle as little amount of cheese as possible on my burrito. Again I awkwardly had to ask for more. When I asked for more cheese she managed to sprinkle even less cheese on the burrito than she did the first time. Again this portion size is not what I’m used to, not even close! The last employee in the assembly line was a young man. He was clearly told by his fellow employee next to him that I ordered a chicken burrito. He repeated out loud “steak burrito, anything else,” I said “it’s a chicken burrito” and this young man looked straight at me with an angry look and sarcastic tone and said “chicken burrito, anything else.” I get it, the job has a lot of repetition and working with the public isn’t easy sometimes, but these guys are ridiculous. They are so bad that it reflects in the quality, and quantity, of the food. Chipotle...
Read moreQdoba will always be my preference over this place. I have been sitting and waiting on an online order since 8:45 PM. It is currently 9:15 PM. There are currently 6 employees in the store. When I came in 4 were standing around in the back doing nothing.
As I type this, one of the employees is standing on the line scratching her hair and picking at her nails. She also has her personal drink on the line sitting next to an open burrito, which I’m honestly hoping is not mine.
While waiting, we were informed they are out of chicken and chips, and have done nothing to offer refunds to customers. They are also out of Dr. pepper.
As another individual stated below, I would give this place zero stars if possible. I have come here before, and it is always a similar experience. Hence the reason my business almost always goes to Qdoba in Bridgeton. I will be contacting either the General Manager or the corporate office in the morning. This store clearly needs an overhaul and better employees.
Upon arrival, I was also met by a sign that said online orders only. I later learned this was due to the fact they were short staffed..... I worked at a Qdoba for two to three years. We rarely had more than three people on around this time of night and were able to make orders in store...
