Molly’s Beach Walk Cafe — Restaurant in Bridgman

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would, but 3 just seemed too harsh since this is a new business. To be honest, I was just very underwhelmed by our breakfast here yesterday. The prices are quite high, especially considering the quality and portions. They had two people working (it was a Sunday morning), and it took about 25 minutes for our breakfast to come after we ordered. I had the breakfast sandwich, panini style. The menu clearly stated that it would be made with cheddar cheese, but it had American cheese on it - yuck! The hashbrowns were barely cooked. My husband had the Molly's Scramble and really enjoyed his (which is why I gave 4 stars). We had to ask for more water/coffee twice. The water was warm, and the coffee was quite terrible (but at least it's only $1). I really wanted to love this place as I live locally, but the prices seem way too high for what you get, and I think they have some kinks to work out as far as service. I know it's hard to find people to work right now, but no one ever explained why it was taking so long, checked in with us with an update, or anything like that. Again, I gave 4 stars because I want to cut them some slack. IF I ever go again, I will update my review...

I’ve ordered delivery from here many times but today was the first time I placed an order for online pickup at this place . When I got there 15 minutes later , I was greeted with dirty looks and was immediately told their DoorDash screen had been turned off so they didn’t get the order , and that my wait would be about 30 minutes . She was pretty rude and standoffish but I politely went and sat in my truck and waited the half hour for my food . When I returned , I was once again stared down like I didn’t belong there , and she proceeded to tell me that not only is my food still not done , but they haven’t even started it , and she doesn’t even know when or if they will . Then just casually walks away and serves coffee to the next table , completely ignoring me . This is the WORST customer service I’ve ever encountered . I hate to make it about race , but I’m sure the color of my skin had a lot to do with the appalling behavior I witnessed today . I will never again support...

We came on a Monday morning on our way out of town. It didn’t look too busy when we walked in, just a couple of other tables occupied. We asked for water and never got it, though coffee refills were provided. The server was nice but after an hour of waiting she hadn’t provided an update until we asked… at which point she said the cook would start on our order after he finished with the second half of another table’s order. The two other people I came with were done eating before my omelette arrived. My salad was wilted and had a fry on it. Another family came and left before being served, and a group before us was still waiting on their biscuits and gravy they accidentally gave us (which was cold and undercooked and had to be tossed). They must have waited over two hours. There was only one cook but it was still a ridiculously long wait. Other reviewers remark on this establishment’s bigotry but the poor service appeared...
