Scoops Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bridgman

The young woman that waited on me tonight was just glowing, radiant. She had a smile that could light a darkened room and etiquette to match. So that said the service was amazing. The ice cream was very tasty and the price felt like I stepped back in time 20 yrs. Outside there is a row of picnic tables with strands of Edison lights that I'm sure make a beautiful ambiance in the evening. They are right around the corner from Weco beach and campground and a perfect excuse to hang around town after the beach for a few minutes to take care of that sweet tooth before hitting the road. They have long hours. They have a new ice cream flavor that I loved, cinnamon churo. There is outdoor seating, but no indoor seating. The prices are a bit high, generally around $5 for an item. They do take plastic. Easy to find, right on Red Arrow Highway in a little strip mall at the south edge of town. Good Sherman's ice cream, about 24 flavors (I didn't count).😋

Update: They no longer have Sherman's ice cream.

We've been coming to this ice cream shop for over 15 years when it was named Sherman's, and then the Rainbow Shop, and now Scoops.

They used to carry Sherman's ice cream up until recently, and that was THE best. You couldn't beat it. They now carry Ashby's Ice Cream which is good, but not the same. I tried Michigan Pothole and Triple Peanut Butter and both were delicious.

Be prepared to get massive scoops here - their scoop sizes put other (excluding Oinks) ice cream...
