Wet and cold out, I put in an order for a kids meal and a quart of the soft serve. I was 10 minutes away, it said it would take 10 minutes. My kids and I pulled in and there was one person in the lobby. Maybe 4 cars in the drive-thru. I went to the counter, expecting it to be ready, and the kids meal was there. I asked somebody behind the counter where the ice cream was she asked me to look in the freezer by the counter. I looked, and there was no court of vanilla. She told me she was gonna have to go in the back and make it. Huh? Make what? As vanilla and chocolate, soft serve is pouring into buckets in the front. After 15 minutes I ask again where itâs at. About five minutes later, I was given 2 pints, and was informed that this is all they had, as Iâm looking at quart containers on the counter. I donât really care to complain to the manager after waiting 25 minutes to put ice cream in a container, so I am heading home. I open up one of the pints and itâs about half full. Yup, pissed. I am amazed at what kids are paid and how they act like they get paid pennies so canât work.    Read moreDirecting my frustrations to the manager of the restaurant here, your quality control for the food served at this location is going downhill. Freddyâs is our favorite fast food spot in Brighton but the last 3 to 4 times we have stopped in something has been wrong. Just last night we ordered at the drive thru and when we pulled food out of the bag when we got home I saw that my 8 dollar curds were burnt to a crisp, our large fries were half full with extremely over salted fried. The half and half concrete I ordered was all chocolate. It seems like every time we stop in there something is wrong with our order or the food is off. Last time we got takeout we realized we were missing a burger when we got home and the fries tasted like dirty grease with no salt. We are going to just start driving to Thornton location in hopes they donât keep wasting our money with sub par food. Please correct this!!! My husband and I are moving to Brighton soon and thought we would give your location a try. We are very pleased to report such a positive experience.
Upon approaching the counter I was greeted by a very kind young woman who took my order and verified what I wanted before submitting it. She told me to have a great day and had a big smile on her face. A great start to a dining experience. While I waited I saw multiple employees working hard to keep the place clean, well organized, and welcoming.
I received my ice cream right away and was a bit confused where to get the rest of my food. The same very kind woman directed me to the other counter. Our food came out right away and the was delicious. The burger was fresh and well constructed (not always the case at other fast food joints). The ice cream was some of the best Iâve had. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach and I felt great after eating there.
We will definitely be returning to that location. Kudos to whoever does the hiring. Your staff is wonderful and fantastic...
