So, I was pretty sure I had a "bad" review on here and came to edit it, but I guess not...
First and foremost, I hope this review helps them out because, as you can see -this place had a REALLY rough time for a while. The new manager seems to care about this place, as I've actually seen him post on a local FB group telling/asking for opinions on what needed to change. He's doing alright from the looks of it because the 1 star reviews weren't lying. This location had terrible inconsistencies with hours and QC and now they're (at least the drive-thru) open with posted hours. I ate inside the store and it sounded like the manager was having a 1-1 Training or meeting with a regional employee or someone of importance - obviously, I wasn't trying to eavesdrop. But while I was eating here, my rather unusual order was made on a level so flawless that I spent the time to write this.
The employees here do a good job, but definitely communication issue on the customer side if you're not bilingual or Spanish speaking. The cooks only speak Spanish and I've struggled in the past to get simple things like my drink cup because they don't understand.
As mentioned, the food I had was the best preparation of my order I've ever had from a tacobell. But I will also say, I've had orders too frequently wrong in the past, and I'm hoping that it changes but I'm also understanding on the fact that this is a TacoBell and not some Michelin star fine dining experiance.
If you eat here during busy hours, the tables can be messy, but I don't blame them. it's mainly customers who don't clean up after themselves. Maybe they could do more frequent table wipes. I always eat here between lunch and dinner hours, so I'm content with cleanliness.
With all this being said, there is room for improvement, but they're so much better than they were. 5/5 for...
Read moreUpdate: Upon calling to speak to the store manager, apparently, the rude employee was the store manager. Makes so much sense on how they are failing so badly on customer service. Will be contacting the corporate and district manager to get the issue resolved. Hope she has a great night
The drive thru attendant on staff at 8:30 p.m. on 1/27/24 was the rudest employees I have ever met in my life! I assumed doing a mobile order would be easier on the staff, so I always use mobile ordering. Apparently, the Taco Bells app is bad, and you shouldn't use it unless you want to be asked to pull around and get in the back of the line. Seriously, who does that? She tells me our orders take 5 minutes to get through to the system and as I'm at the speaker tells me my order just come through and the person ordering behind me AFTER my order come through is technically first in line. Now mind you, this person hasn't even ordered yet! On my order, I put in mild sauce, and there was none in the bag. When I asked her for them, she handed me 4 on the receipt, and it showed 10. When I pointed it out, she told me she could only give one sauce per item. If that was the case, why didn't the app apply that rule and charge for the additional ones. Again, just some nobody trying to assert her taco bell authority. When I asked for the rest of my order, she kept telling me to have a great day and laughing with the staff, asking for the manager, and getting the same response. Guess she needed to feel big in her small life. The food was awful, which is to be expected with their nasty employees. She either needs a class on how to read or count. Clearly, she can't do either. 10 and 4 are two totally different numbers. Please educate your employees. They...
Read moreNeeded a late night meal and swung by the drive-thru @ Prairie Center around 9:30PM (they close at 2AM). I sat and waited at the drive-thru speaker for like 10-15 minutes... nobody ahead of me, but then a line started to build up behind me. Figured I'd just wait and see how long the line got... eventually it started to go out the parking lot and STILL got no service! I finally drove up to the drive-thru window to see what the hell was going on, and saw all the workers scramble to their positions. I told the drive-thru girl that I had been waiting at the speaker for 10 minutes and that a line started forming behind me and she TRIED to give me attitude about my disappointment and dissatisfaction. Her reason why I wasn't serviced is "WE DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE TAKING ORDERS." I brushed her entitled self off and asked for someone else to take my order... some cool dude from another store helped me and was somewhat cool about it. Still had to pay the full price... $28 lol Ended up not eating the food tho because how could I possibly trust food from such a mismanaged store and from a bunch of disgruntled, entitled kids? Won't be coming back to this location anytime soon. This Taco Bell has the WORST service. Do not recommend. Del Taco on Bromley is MUCH better! Let this Taco Bell location go out of...
