Oh my, my, my! First off I have to tell you, I love the bartender JOHN! I think if you’re going to be in the restaurant business, you need to find people like,John and Kacey, they need to be cloned.
What a little gem this place was for us. We have a blast but can only drink a couple of their beers. If you are not a IPA fan well let me tell you they only have one Lager (beezknees) and maybe one or two sour beers. I am a Lager or Ale girl And so is my husband, there wasn’t much of a choice for me! These breweries need to think more about the non-IPA drinkers and give us a little choice. This was my only complaint.
I loved the decor, I love the size at the establishment, it had a wonderful feeling. They have something going on every night and a few nights a week they have a Romine Food Truck. There is a little sausage/hotdog cart outside that we indulged in and the young lady that runs that was so fun and cooked my jalapeño sausage perfect!
We ended up sharing a table with what we believe became some new friends and as it turned out we had many things in common and also were able to join in on some conversations and people around us.
I started this off with the “oh my, my, my”. We are talking to a person out of Colorado Springs and knew the series called “Homicide hunter” which is based on true events that happened in Colorado Springs. You can find it on the ID channel.
I WOULD go back and can’t wait until I do. Hopefully by then they will have at least another one or two lagers...
Read moreOur favorite place for beer and a good environment. Their selection is always solid, changes regularly, and has something for everyone to enjoy.
Customer service is on point - from the bar to the random faces that appear from downstairs- they are always welcoming and kind. You can always count on the beer slingers for laughs and good conversation. The locals have always been friendly, and you can really tell this place means a lot to the community. We have never regretted the 30 minute commute to enjoy our time here.
Purchasing kegs (Yes, the beer is that good) has also been a smooth experience every time. Their communication is quick and clear about availability.
Also, per my last random (mildly intoxicated) group conversation with fellow female patrons at this establishment- a shout out is in order for whoever buys the good TP for the bathrooms. You’re the real MVP. There’s nothing worse than breaking the seal and being at a place that provides cheap sandpaper TP to their customers. It’s the little things. We...
Read moreThe beer was great, the service was lacking. We had our names on a wait list to sit in or outside. We were 2nd to another couple who only wanted outside. We stood, talked with them, milked our beer before realizing there were several seats available, about 20 min had passed. We watched as people walked in and were seated. We then had to wait in line again just to pay our tab, about 10-15 min, only to have the beertender call for our seats (because the people waiting before us complained too). I was fine with just paying the bill and leaving until he said that a bunch of seats "just" opened up and they could seat us. It was an absolute lie to my face. I then told him they needed a new plan to watch their wait-list because they completely neglected those waiting. We left and visiting another brewery down the street with great service. Just don't appreciate the lie instead of the apology for the wait...
