Hubby and I dined here our first time to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience top to bottom was exceptional. I will say their food IS pricey so I would consider this more of a special occasion restaurant for us. We like to sample multiple items when dining out. *To start we had their bread, which was deliciously soft and topped with a well seasoned butter. *Hubby ordered their shrimp cocktail (I'm not a seafood fan) and thoroughly enjoyed it. At first he was hesitant because it's a grilled and chilled shrimp, not a traditional boiled and chilled shrimp, and he wasn't sure how that would affect it's taste but he loved it. *We then shared the wedge salad. Our server had the kitchen split the salad for us and I'm glad she did; half was plenty for us to split so we took the rest home. The roasted tomatoes on the salad were a nice change from traditional chilled ones, bacon was crispy, fried onions were a nice addition and the bleu cheese dressing was the perfect amount of funk without being overpowering. *I ordered the filet and it was, no joke, probably the best steak I've had in my life. The meat was tender enough to cut with my fork and it was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned with an incredible coarse pepper rub that really set off the flavors. I added the zip sauce...amazing! My side was brussel sprouts and they were seasoned well and perfectly crisp. *Hubby had the delmonico ribeye and also thought his steak was spot on. Perfectly cooked and he ordered the chimichurri on the side, which was light and refreshing and just damn good. His side was the mushrooms and the portion was large and delicious. He also added on a wonderful lobster tail, which was about $32. *We ended our meal by sharing the chocolate cake and coffee. The cake had a bourbon strawberry sauce to top (yum!). We also enjoyed coffee with our cake. To keep the coffee fresh, it's made to order using a French press which means we got 4 cups instead of 2 and that was fine. All in all, our meal was absolutely wonderful top to bottom. We will definitely return but not indulge as much next time. Our bill was $330 (before tip) which isn't a standard dinner for us; however, this included 3 drinks for each of us which adds up quickly too.

What an absolutely amazing place. We’ve wanted to go since they opened not too long ago, and we are sure glad we finally made it. This place filled a niche that I wasn’t even sure existed. The atmosphere here is fantastic, from the architecture of the building to the layout of the inside. The lighting is great and the tables are well spaced to enjoy private conversations. The staff was fantastic, and for the most part very knowledgeable. I would only suggest that some servers brush up on their whiskey knowledge. They all seemed to know the cocktail list and menu very well. The food was great as well. They have options that most places don’t, and they were all delicious. The drinks were just as well made. The cocktails were creative and not just generic classics. The whiskey: it’s why we came in the first place. The selections were fantastic. They have more here than any other place I’ve yet to go. Their scotch list was a bit shorter but since it is a bourbon themed bar I’m not surprised. They still have all the classics.

I was visiting from out of state and our hotel recommended this place. We didn't know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived! I cannot say enough good praises of the wait staff, food and atmosphere. We ended up having two servers as it was shift change. Both were very friendly, professional and courteous. They both took pride in this restaurant and the food they served. Our food was very good! Nothing we had was less than delicious! A few items that really stood out were; lobster artichoke dip (appetizer), duck fat potatoes (side), NY Steak (entree) and the fried donuts (dessert). The atmosphere is laid back but also upscale. It's comfortable fine dining, with a beautiful chandelier in the larger room. The bathrooms were also nice and clean. I recommend this place if you are in the area!

Stopped in here for a quick drink, based mostly out of curiosity. Being one of Brighton's newest drinking establishments, and how the building looked in general, I couldn't wait to stop in here.

With that being said, this place was everything I was hoping it was going to be and more.

When you first enter the parking lot, you will quickly realize that this place looks nothing like anything else you've come across in the area—which is what drew me in while driving by for the last month or so. Once you make it inside, you will again notice that much like the outside, the inside also looks nothing like any sort of bar or restaurant that you've come across in the area. The staff is welcoming and friendly, especially the bartenders. Speaking of the bar, this place has two of them—a full size bar area when you first walk in, and a smaller more quaint bar area toward the front of the building (this is the one that I sat at). Since we are already talking about the bars, and bartenders it's only fitting to mention the fact that this places boasts a massive unique collection of booze (most of it being Whiskey, but regardless there is A LOT). They have some stuff here that you literally will not find anywhere else. They do not however have a huge draft craft beer selection, but what they have curated for the menu fits in perfectly for the experience you will find yourself immersed in here. It just works. The food here, is also exceptional— and all I had the time to try was considered to be just an appetizer. I can only imagine what the full entrees taste like. I stopped in here earlier in the day on a Saturday, and it was already getting pretty busy, so I imagine this place fills up pretty quickly and with quite a bit of people (especially on weekends). So hey, maybe let's not get so mad if you have to wait a little while okay? It's worth it, in every way.

This establishment is not only immaculately curated, and decorated in every way, it is also very clean and inviting (especially the bathrooms). There are little features all over the place that serve their own individual purposes and that is one of my favorite things about this place. You can tell that an immense amount of thought was put into how this place was put together in every aspect.

If you stop in, you won't regret it. Matter of fact, just thank me later—because that's now nice of a place this is. This place is...

TLDR: Rude staff, slow service and then ask you to leave after 2 hours of slow service.

I've been to many higher class restaurants and spent even more time and NEVER have I been asked to "can you just go". I have also worked in the service industry and NEVER ask guest to leave.

So for the complete review, when we entered, the hostess was very stand offish and weird. I just brushed it off and tried to look past it. It was just awkward .

We were sat and it took about 30 minutes for our initial drinks to arrive. From there, we ordered our dinner and it was served a little over an hour into our stay. I ordered a glass of wine with my dinner and it did not come out until I was half way finished with my entree.

At this point we were really having a great time and enjoying our friends that joined us.

We finished out dinner, which if I were to rate considering value out of 5 was just a 3. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great for the money we were spending. This was about 1 hour and 45 minutes into our stay.

We were served the check and promptly paid. After our check was picked up the hostess came over and told us "there is a 2 hour maximum and can you just go". I was absolutely floored and quite frankly, embarrassed. I have NEVER in my professional career been asked to LEAVE a restaurant.

We of course, respectfully got up and left but not without speaking with the manager. The manager was no where to be found and took at least 10 minutes to speak with us. I expressed our concern and he did not care one bit. He said "if you would read our website, it states 2 hours maximum". I continued to express our concern and he did not care. His energy definitely matched that of the hostess.

I will say, I will never step foot back into the establishment or recommend anyone else to do the same.

The service was SLOW and ask you to leave after you hit the maximum amount of time allowed. That is not acceptable.

Also, the food was fine but nothing to rave about.

Moral of story, rude staff, slow service and then ask you to leave after 2 hours of...
