Dined in on 4/9/24. I usually eat dinner here 6 to 8 times a month ($120 to $160 spent each month). I ordered my dinner ( Chicken Parm) as the complete dinner as I do just about every time I visit them. The complete dinner used to be soup, salad & dessert. I say used to be as apparently since last week that has changed with the desert dropped. In my ordering I was never told that the meal choices changed though in checking the menu it was stated only soup and salad.....ok my fault, but when I got my bill I was told that the only dinners included in the complete dinners were the American Favorites. I have always gotten that complete meal deal on any of their numerous dinner choices. Again, maybe I should have been made aware that nothing other than the American Favorites counted to being a complete dinner since I order it as a complete meal. Bottom line, I was charged $4.99 +tax for a salad that , I believe , should have been covered in the complete meal deal and was no where close to being a $5 salad ! Why would only the American favorites dinners qualify for the complete dinner deal? There are many more other dinners than American Favorites on their menu ! Well, the outcome for me is I will no longer be going to this restaurant due to a big lack of service. I'd go there more than the 6 or 8 times a month but I live 22 miles from there ( 44 miles round trip ) and while I will drive a distance for a good meal (...and they do have great food......soup is the best !) due to gas prices I have to limit my driving a bit. I'm not going to frequent a place that seems to not care about helping its customers understand the menu or it's...
Read moreI hate giving one star because the food and our server were absolutely amazing. However Mr B is a horrible human being. We had asked for spicy bloody Mary’s. However when we got them they all hot sauce and no Bloody Mary mix. There’s was 4 of us and we all thought the same thing. So it wasn’t that one of us ‘couldn’t handle the spice’. They were just made poorly. We asked our server if there was anything she could do, since all four of us didn’t drink them. She let us know that the manager MR B started to yell at her and asked if we wanted to speak with him ourselves at the checkout stand. So we said of course no problem. We went up to the checkout stand to cash out and asked if we could get the bloody Mary’s taken off our tabs. He started to yell at us, blamed the server and then stated then she could pay for. I politely told him that he has no business yelling at his employees nor yelling at us. Needless to say it was a complete mess. MR B whoever you are at this company I hope this review reaches you. I’ve never seen someone yell at customers and employees the way you did. So unprofessional, rude and unwilling to help the situation. So because of him. This restaurant gets this rating. If Mr B is the type of person you employ then we will take our business elsewhere and ask all of friends and family to...
Read moreHorrible food based on quality and taste. I do not eat hear often but often drive by here and always wondered why except for the weekend mornings this place is never busy. We went for dinner one night and the service was fine but the food was terrible! I ordered their baked cod which was over cooked and mushy I was shocked to get canned vegetables with my meal. Absolutely horrible. My wife ordered a hamburger that was tasteless and over cooked cheap frozen Patty that was more like a hockey puck. The only thing good was the french fries. For what they charge they should give fresh vegetables and check to make sure the food is cooked properly before bringing to customers. Serving canned or frozen vegetables is a thing of the past and should only be served in institutional food service like prisons. After eating this meal I now know why the place...
