Gray's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bristol

Very disappointed with our experience here. First time we went in, the waffle cone came out of the display case and was gross. There were 3 young girls working who looked like they had no idea what they were doing. Then a family came in through the back door and the woman proceeded to put her very long hair up in the middle of all kitchen area / where the ice cream was!! Fast forward to 4th of July when my other family members went in and asked for a scoop of ice cream in a cone and were told "we aren't doing that today", and they received a cup. The place was also empty at this time so it's not like they were to busy to do a cone scoop. The staff appears to not be properly trained,...

Was surprised how good this little shop was, because of how unassuming it is! There were two very sweet high schoolers behind the counter, and they were very kind and answered all my questions about their flavors. The butterscotch was excellent, as was the waffle bowl. I do wish the portions were a little bigger, but not enough so that I would knock them down a star as though I wish the portions were bigger they did feel fair for what you pay for.

Visited Gray's for the first time with my family this week. We had a massive order (15 or so in our party) and the young woman working the window was so patient. She also listened intently when I explained my son had a gluten allergy and told me all the precautions she would take (fresh utensils, washing her hands between orders, placing his toppings in a separate dish, etc.).
