Walmart — Local services in Brockton

I would give this Walmart NO stars if it was an option but unfortunately that is NOT!..

Here’s my story- yesterday the Brockton Walmart once again caused a scanning error, the problem was I stopped the cashier to explain that he is charging me 3/ times @13.94 when the items were labeled for $.50 honestly a little common sense too and a pro-active approach on his part should have been duh 🙄.. $13.94 for a small cheap looking face cloth… When I stopped him I asked him does that make sense to you that item should cost that much?.. Hello??.. Next I explained in English which I believe or thought he understood because he nodded and said he would fix it!!.. Mind you based on the Mass price accuracy guarantee I should have received one of the items free because it was Walmart’s scanning error!.. But he didn’t say anything about that??.. And proceeded to charge me $.50 for the 6/ hand towels.. I had purchase $135/ worth of merchandise and they scanned so fast, it was hard to keep track of everything BUT he said that he corrected it and what made it worst, is that this Walmart often DOES NOT show the price on the screen of the register for customers to see so naturally they can’t dispute what they can’t see if there is an error??!!.. Very shady and deceptive.. I asked about this before and they said that sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn’t!.. Well consumer’s have a right to see what you are charging them and the price accuracy law protects consumers but clearly this Walmart refuses to comply!!..But anyways I proceeded to leave and checked my receipt and of course the idiot cashier charged me $13.94 EXTRA after I had spent a good 15 min explaining to him and he assured me that he wasn’t going to do that… Then he pointed me to go to Customer Service to get my money back.. which is another 1/2 hour process because they have 1/ person on returns!!.. How lovely and fair is that so fustrated I asked for a Manager who actually was a Team leader named Damian, worst worst customer service person ever!!.. I proceeded to explain that I was over charged on a $.50 item and said that I had explained it to the cashier several times but he still messed up, so he proceeded to argue with me and said that I was only charged 1/ $13.94, but I said that item doesn’t exist so how are u gonna do the return the face towels were only $.50, then he became belligerent and rude because I was upset and fustrated so I raised my tone!.. Mind now I have been in this Walmart for over 2/ hours.. just tired of repeating myself and Damian acting smart when actually he was clueless and NOT listening!!.. Finally fustrated I said I am going to return everything!!. Just give me my money back!.. So I returned all of that $135/ that I bought the manager had the audacity to say OH good that is easier??!!.. So he was happy that he lost money for Walmart today.. No apologies for my inconvenience..etc!!..

Anyways letting you all know that you should pay attention when shopping @ this Walmart because their scanners are either broken or purposely set up to rip customers off.. And you have Customer Service value so go to a different Walmart location!.

The attorney general’s office is going to get a complaint about the consumer price accuracy law, that this Walmart although posting the poster DOES NOT honor that law and actually don’t show you what they are charging you which I am pretty sure is not legal as well..

I called their complaint line yesterday after my horrendous ordeal & got a message back today to call ED back @ this Walmart, no last name no job title so for all I know he’s just another joker there??.. Just for the hell of it I want to hear what he has to say, if he is upper management, he should review the store tapes with volume to see how his employees deal with customers and FIRE DAMIAN who has no value for Walmart patrons!!.

Given the way the economy is how can you not value your patrons being in a consumer services and goods industry??..!!

A VERY Dissatisfied and...

This was at Walmart Brockton outside of Westgate mall, ok lets start, I went there bcuz it was the closest to where I was at.! (Only reason) ! When I went inside to grab a shopping carriage the first 6 ones i I grabbed were extremely sticky ,like a bottle of pop exploded getting all six and youc9uld see something similar on the ground below the carriage station. As I said something to the greeter there, she looked at me as if I were from Planet go fus. English was not anywhere in her choice of words. I know that a lot of these Foreigners can speak English, but they choose not to. They just don't want to do the work.

As to why I was there, I was going to pick up 3 large ticket priced items, I was looking for a new battery for my Audi Q7, other stores have it for about $400 dollars,* don't get me started on that. ) they told me that they didn't carry that size bcuz it would be missing from our docks (ummm??) Now comes the d battery charger. I need to charge any size ,shape, volt, or amp. The same answer applies he told me wth? Where is security 👀 or is it security stealing? Nobody watching the frigging cameras 📷? Lastly, I wanted a pair of engine strip lights that go under the hood,so when you lift up the hood at nite it's lit .I was told to go to Abington or the Taunton store again. I asked why I was told to be small and stealable to expensive to lose. I ask him why did you open the 🤒store today and he didn't understand me and that's sad for both of us.

Walmart, here's the answer to most of your problems, hire retired men and women who can tag the " quote " to expensive stock that comes in with the truck loads, and heve two people doing it so hopefully there will be no mix-up's. Also have them as part of your security team back there and all the good things about your business 😉 will go sm😀😀thly...get my point...Brian Currivan feel free to call or text me if you have any...

Ok the oak street one good store I've also been to the one off montello street heading into Avon oak much better people seemed to get along much better Avon one you have workers talking with each other alot of trying to hook up with this one and that one managers are not helpful as they seem to grow over there own kind sad this type of talk is said but how else would you describe it but ofcourse our city brockton.mass has change in the last 40 years where many who had made it there home buying houses apartments houses because years ago many came there to work in our shoe company's and brockton was the shoe city years ago but as all things many closed. Up moved over seas because making a dollar there is better than paying taxes our city and state Gov put on many buisness owners witch always including yes us always but you out there new all this how things are put onto you and big buisness seems to get a brake oh well oak st Wal.mart great place as I said they went out of there way to make a sale I had put together only because they were out of ten packs I suggested puttinGB two 5 packs at the ten packs price well Avon is a 5 minutes if that from my place oak street well you have to drive in many ways getting there if you know brockton streets I do so its probably 7 or 8 minutes oh both depends on time of day work traffic always slows us up but oak street is worth the extra because you go right buy a mall on the same street plus restaurants all around hey these are things that many family's should care about ok...
