Store is clean, organized, and fully stocked. However, the store policies around purchasing wigs are very bizarre. TLDR: If youāre looking to purchase a wig, I donāt suggest coming here.
I went in to purchase two wigs. I found the one I was looking for, but it wasnāt in the right color. While pursuing, a sales associate came up to me and asked if I needed help - I let her know that I was looking for a specific color, and after locating it she went to the front register with the box (didnāt ask me if I wanted to see it or anything). So, I continued to look through the aisle for a second wig. She came back up from the front and yelled down the aisle that I wasnāt allowed to look at the wigs without an associate present. I totally understand if thatās the policy, but there was no one in that section when I first arrived. Furthermore, the associate WALKED AWAY FROM ME WHILE I WAS STILL BROWSING, and then proceeded to yell at me like Iām a child. Why not simply ask āDo you need more help?ā or āAre you looking for any other wigs today?ā before sauntering off to the checkout. In fact, she raised her voice so loud that a manager came over to see what was wrong. Not only that, after I had paid for my wigs and went in my car, the manager went up to the door to look at me/my vehicle. I literally went to one aisle, and then right to checkout. Such an uncomfortable experience, both the manager and employee made me feel like I was doing something wrong even though A) the policy was posted on the opposite second aisle, not the aisle I was browsing, and B) there was no employee present when I entered that section of the store. If this is a policy you want to enforce, then the signage needs to be prominently displayed, and there needs to be an employee in that section at all times. If thereās no money to hire the amount of staff needed, then you should have that section closed off so that people canāt browse on their own. If I were acting suspicious I would understand why the employee would say something, but I was literally in gym clothes and had a small purse with me - nothing a wig could fit into. Regardless, it doesnāt give her an excuse to yell at me, nor the manager to try and intimidate me through the door. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and Iām really disappointed because this store is actually really nice AND close to my local gym. However, after this negative experience Iām going to stick to purchasing wigs online or at other local stores and will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a very negative experience at the K Beauty & Hair store in Brockton, MA, today. The staff was not just unfriendly and rude, but also lacked even the most basic customer service skills. This lack of training was evident in their behavior and made my experience extremely unpleasant.
While in the store, my 6-year-old son accidentally hit a RAZAR oil sheen on the floor, breaking the bottle. Instead of addressing this matter professionally and amicably, your staff was rudely attacking us and being disrespectful. They tried to kick us out of the store if we decided not to pay for the item. I decided to discuss this issue with the manager, KI-KI, who rudely walked away from me while talking to her. Then, another lady with braids yelled at me in front of my son and other customers. The culture there was to mistreat customers, which explains the other negative reviews the shop has.
After this discourse, I decided to pay for the item that my son accidentally damaged and tried to resolve the issue with the manager. While I was addressing my concern, the staff were yelling at another customer.
It was my first time there, and I would never go back. Also, I will never recommend anyone I know to go there. Instead, I will take my money to their other competitors who treat their customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in this store tonight with my daughter, newborn son friend and her daughters . My daughter and her friend who are 12 and 14 were being followed around the store and racially profiled as they are of mixed race. My friend and I who are white were never followed or asked any questions. The person who identified as the owner reported that someone saw one of the girls open body wash to smell it. Apparently it's against their store policies to smell items but when I was getting ready check out there was oil at the checkout area and she said I could open it to smell it. Why would you allow me to opening oil to smell but not the child to smell body wash? I paid for the wash as she instructed me that we have to per policy. Why would you not come speak to the parents instead of stalking ,harassing and threatening children? The person who identified as the owner when asked would not give me her name or number. When asked for the name she laughed and said "I'm not stupid I'm not giving you my name ". She threatened to call the police but did not. I have shopped at this store for almost two years for my daughters hair care products and never had an issue. I was very disappointed in this store and how the children are treated. I will never shop here and file complaints against...
